Yes it's March, and yes I haven't done anything in a bit for reasons. But here's N8909E circa 1974: Yes it's the same frame as the Republic all metal one I did last year... there is a reason.

2 Bicentennial Dc-9-14s: N8914E, 1972 livery: N8912E, 1974 livery: and a better detail on the bicentennial EA sticker: and finally... N8901E, circa 1979 aaand something different... C-GTSX, L1011-1, Air Transat, circa 1996ish ex-British Airtours and Dragonair, has full size #4 doors. Also grey underside vs metal on existing HJG version. SHOULD also have full length painted nacelles but the mapping of the textures does not allow this (all 3 engines share 1 aft engine cover texture)

Ok now the Eastern Dc-9-30s... I'm going to do in reverse-ish order... so starting with 2 from the final blue nose scheme circa 1989: N8920E, blue ship number and PW logos on the engines (one off?): and N8976E, white ship number (5 or 6 were done like this): This was the last major version of the EA hockeystick before the 91 shutdown.

"SILVER BULLETS" .... and one of the greatest classics of the US airline industries original "BIG 4" EAL lives on (here at least anyway) long after it disappeared and Peter's FS reproductions are "a great manner" in which to preserve memories and keep the legend alive Mark C AKL/NZ

mmm the whisperjets will be along... But more Silver first... the ugly ducklings... both circa 1989 N8918E, thin stripe blue nose: And N8981E, similar but with painted engine parts including fully painted reversers. There, no more blue nose DC-9s to do... And here's N8969E in the "standard" thin stripe scheme, 1986ish:

N8975E, circa 1989 with swapped nose cone swapped nose cones were a common event at later day Eastern, it was more obvious on the 727s but it did affect the DC-9 fleet as well. There are 2 more variations on this I can do and I probably will but later. And N8945E, circa 1974, aft set Whisperjet titles:
