Thanks Benoit and Mark And IF I can find the correct Spantax titles I will do N1035F in both Spantax schemes... But it is not the old black or later blue block ones... It's a weird curvy one that only lasted a short time... I'll find it or recreate it eventually Also there is supposedly a version with small Loftleider titles but cannot find a photo of it...

Something different... SU-BMQ, Tunis Air, 1998, MD-90... leased from AMC (Egypt) three tone white paint scheme effectively... Sad knowing this is as close to flying on an MD-90 again as I will ever get

Peter I did the Spantax versions for the DC-10-30 so if those textures are of use to you please feel free to use them

What we currently have are (some of) the definitive SPANTAX liveries.
There are several hybrid and other variations we don't have and which account for a number of leased aircraft (covering both the DC-10-10 and -30) .... according to imagery we've sourced and which are what Peter's making reference to.

Very nice Peter .... and I'm sure you have a bag full of future surprises regarding these .... especially given what we've both recently uncovered reference-wise Mark C AKL/NZ

More gorgeous work Peter love them all. I’ve always thought that “Spantax” sounds more like a material you might make lingerie out of than an airline 😝
Cheers, Nathan

Same plane about 8 months later... "full" Spantax markings, spanish registration EC-DSF... still Icelandic cheat lines though That's it for this frame... it did appear in the final Spantax colors but we already have the standard Dc-10-30 in the library in those colors. There are more Spantax -10s I can look at... a Swissair hybrid and World hybrids... I'll see aaaaaand.... This one has been requested a few times... I don't know I got the right mindset to do it today... So... C-GCPJ, Canadian Airlines "Proud Wings" DC-10-30ER... fictional... The very end of the fuselage is the problem... this is my solution... but since no DC10s were actually painted in this scheme (sadly) it's the best looking option to me.

I knew the "Proud Wings" version of a CANADIAN DC-10-30 would come up eventually Even though I don't much like "fictional" liveries I'm (kind of) glad this one did eventually get done .... because it "DOES" look "BLOODY GOOD" really .... and it reveals just how "NICE" this livery/concept might have looked, on the DC-10's, had the airline not withdrawn them from service before (or as) this particular livery began to be applied fleet wide Mark C AKL/NZ

Well without getting into the complications of the Proud Wings era at Canadian... no none ever did get into these colors, contradictory info if they ever would of... but the Air Canada take over ended the DC-10s... the day of the "integration" all CP D10 services ended, replaced by 763 (AC or CP), 343 (AC) 333 (AC) and/or 744/74M (CP/AC). Canadian was supposedly trying to acquire either 777s or A340s to replace the DC-10s, but their financial situation by then was precarious to say the least. Anyways... I've done what I can on it... it's not perfect but it's a good looking try i'd say

It's a nice "CONCEPTUAL" presentation Peter .... in regard to what could have happened/might have come to pass and how it might have looked .... if only circumstances had conspired differently Again .... and despite my mediocrity toward "WHAT IF/FICTIONAL textures/liveries .... this one "I LIKE" ... just as I liked Erik's TWA recent DC-10-10 "concept" too. OK so...
I have been taking a break from painting just because I'm a bit busy with other stuff...
And...
My SSL ceritifcate for my Simlivery.com domain expired... I've made another site's SSL cover images in future but the URLs above need to be updated... I've updated page 7 but I'm not bothering before that. Since Proboards wont allow non-SSL image hosting anymore that will be that.
