"a small but mostly colourful flight line in acknowledgement of HJG's 20th anniversary" and which be followed by a greater celebratory release later/when we have time and opportunity to address it .

"ORIENTATION NOTES"


"WELCOME" to this "MINI WEBSITE UPDATE" in celebration of HJG's 20th anniversary .... 2000 - 2020 .... this release being composed of a very small but colourful selection of "new and upgraded" PSA B727-100 and -200 textures/liveries for your "FREE" classic jetliner enjoyment in both FS2004 and FSX.

Given all that's currently going on around us in the world we can't help being somewhat distracted at the moment (some of us here are being personally impacted) .... and which, by necessity, is seeing FS becoming a "lesser priority" at the moment .... but .... it "IS" our intention to release something "MORE SUBSTANTIAL" as soon as circumstances permit our doing so.

Given the historic significance of PSA (the pride of San Diego) we've upgraded each of our much earlier released B727-100 and -200 textures .... those that require such attention at least .... in order to ensure these liveries are now each of "equal quality". These upgraded textures are "superior" to their original versions and some new/additional period variations of PSA livery have also now been added.

So then sparing any thought for ourselves in order to try'n offer something "nice" for everyone else let's just get into the guts of this release then

The following information is typically intended to aid/orient those either new to, or whom are still becoming accustomed with, the way in which everything's presented on the HJG website ....


- The 4 new and upgraded early production B727-100 textures are located on the "B727-100" downloads page .... inside the "B727-100 EARLY" section of this page .... along with the aircraft base pack file for this particular aircraft type.

- The 3 new and upgraded early production B727-200 textures are located on the "B727-200" downloads page .... inside the "B727-200 EARLY" section of this page .... along with the aircraft base pack file for this particular aircraft type.

- The single upgraded B727-200 ADV texture is located on the "B727-200" downloads page .... inside the "B727-200 ADVANCED" section of this page .... along with the aircraft base pack file for this particular aircraft type.


We hope everyone will enjoy these latest PSA B727 texture releases.

Refresh your internet browser (use SHIFT + F5 keyboard commands) "prior to" viewing and trying to access these latest offerings on each of the HJG DOWNLOADS pages.

Pay attention to the recommended aircraft base pack, panel, and sound pack options stated within each aircraft section of the above website update announcement .... and be sure to employ the recommended file options with each simulation.

Be aware that all files offered by HJG are both FS2004 native and FSX portable .... "except where otherwise stated".

All files recently previewed but not included among these latest releases will feature within a future HJG website update.

PLEASE NOTE: There's no point, or sense, in downloading from HJG and then seeking technical assistance for these files outside this forum. The only reason we state this due to evidence of incorrect advice we've noted posted on other forums in the past .... and which is of obvious concern to us given the length this group "tries to go to" in order to assist peoples enjoyment of what we offer. People can do what they wish .... of course .... BUT .... people do also need to remember that the knowledge base which understands and has brought each of these simulations into existence .... and is best able to provide support for these files ... can only be found "HERE" .... at HJG
