OK .... OK .... just "HANG TEN" please .... and let us get back to you as and when we can .... technical queries can't, and won't, normally be rushed
Remember we're simply "a small group of volunteer FS enthusiasts" .... "NOT" a business .... and as such we don't maintain a 24 hour vigil in front of our PC's
Kindly bear in mind too please that "some" queries require us to "check" what we've uploaded .... and also sometimes perform "tests" within FS .... prior to replying .... each of which can sometimes take "TIME"
IN RESPONE TO YIUR QUERY (so far) THOUGH ....You're obviously installing these in FSX.
The forum based/quoted installation procedures are primarily FS2004 related .... each of the MD-80's/90's we offer "ARE" FSX portable, but, FSX "DOES" require a slightly different/specific installation procedure.
Within the "If Your MD-80/90 Simulation Does Not Display - READ THIS" document we do state as follows ....
We also additionally state ....
....
There's obviously an FSX specific installation step you've either not done or haven't done correctly .... I'd recommend starting by checking both the PANEL.CFG and SOUND.CFG aliases (which are FS2004 assigned by default) are actually edited in accordance with the required FSX specific PANEL and SOUND aliases or these installation simply won't be recognized by or displayed within FSX.
We generally need people to help us, by trying to help themselves for starters, so, we need to refer you to our following forum based FSX INSTALLATION TUTORIALS first and foremost ....
"FSX INSTALLATION - The easiest Method"tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/2081/easiest-installing-fsx-imho"FSX INSTALLATION - Another Method"tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/1662/installing-hjg-aircraft-fsx"FSX INSTALLATION - A Third Method"
tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/3033/third"FSX INSTALLATION - Turn Off DX10 Reminder"tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/2269/turn-off-dx10-preview-fsxAgain .... our MD-80/90 aircraft base packs/models/FDE files "ARE" FSX portable (but not native). The only FSX incompatibility of these files is their forward airstaits animations (being based on FS2002 CONCORDE visor commands) can't work in FSX. There are no other known resteictions.
