Hi friends: Finally some pics of landing a Yak-40 at MMIM Isla mujeres. This airport would be ideal for flying to it with a Yak-40: A short runway (1057 m), no services, wonderful resort, no airlines flying to it.: Fs 9 gives an acceptable impression of the island: We are already on a long final: Everthing is fine Already flaring: Smoothly touching down: Despite having only on engine 2 a reverser, the bird decelerates nicly: And it breaks very efficiently: and we stop with lots of runway to spare: Welcome to ISLA MUJERES! Isla Mujeres has a VOR 115.0 only in FS, in real no VOR, the terminal and the control-tower are closed, PEMEX is selling nothing anymore there. But with 1500 kg of fuel we will reach easily MMUN, there PEMEX will sell us their JETSINA (JET A-1). Kind regards Walter

Hi friends: Found a way to tinker with Igor Suprunovs masterpiece: Existed a Yak-40 "Export" with Collins avionics: "Flying from MMUN to MMMX through "thunderstorms in formation": Slipped through! My version has some inconviniences: The AP cannot be coupled to the Nav, GPS, ILS information of the FD. Kind regards Walter

Hi Hermann:
The Collins ADI and HSI are "borrowed" from the Kingair 350 stock FS9.
Kind regards

Hi friends:
Shame on me!
I wrote about the Yak-42:
But the cure is so easy: Read the manual carefully! As on the last page of the manual it is stated:
Flying on AP touch once backspace and you control the airplane via the control wheel with all the FD information selected still available!
Kind regards
Walter
