Yes, FS2020 takes quite a bit of patience. On my System it takes a good 5 to 7 minutes just to load. Then there are a lot of options you can select and if you want to go through the complete aircraft start up procedure and checklists....more time required before one is ready for take off. But in a way, in the end, it can be all worth it, to enjoy some of the benefits that FS2020 has to offer. Cheers....Herman

35 minutes before he gets airborne.... no way I could do this To be fair, most of that was chatting and other non-flying stuff. Real world, 35 minutes is basically the time it takes to get airborne from the time you arrive at the airport. In sim, even including the flight planning time, it shouldn't be more than about 15 minutes when you're by yourself with no distractions. Nice thing about modern jets - little to no alignment time, and no warm up required. Just run the checklists and go.

Hi Friends: according to the old aviation saying: There are bold pilots and old pilots but no old AND bold pilots! How it was done correctly before 2008 in bad weather and rain: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Znqp19mRD4Go to minute 4: No checkerboard, no lead in lights, but planting the 737-200 on the numbers no flare and brake like hell, so nearly half of the runway remains: My pilots! But the list of accidents at Toncontin is long and did not come to an end after the 2008 TACA Flight 309 accident, the deadliest there which prompted big reforms of the airport. The last one this: aviation-safety.net/database/record.php?id=20180522-1Thanks GOD no mortals, but landing 20 kts too fast, HALF of the runway behind and waiting 13 seconds (an eternity while landing) to deploy spoilers and reverse. Kind regards Walter
