Enjoying your DC-10. Have couple questions. How to determine trim for below MGW T/O or 4.0 should be considered universal? Found a table in the KC-10 Extender performance manual but it requires CG % MAC (mine is below limits, is it okay or did I mess with the installation?). Could procedures and performance tables from the KC-10 Extender manual be applied to DC-10-30 or 30CF? Thanks!

Again .... glad to read you're enjoying "THE BIG 10's" In regard to TO Trim setting. Please refer to "SECTION 5.0" (last section) of my following-linked forum based DC-10 manual. DC-10 MANUAL tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/9147/dc10-panel-installation-handling-notes. All of the recorded TO Trim settings are what I recorded throughout more than a couple years of pre-release flight testing of our DC-10 project. These settings vary according to DC-10 type and weight. Each setting varies between 3.5 units for the lighter DC-10 versions .... to 4.0 units for the heavier versions .... again at MTOW. All recorded settings will need to be adjusted (a reduced setting applied) in consideration of lesser weights, but, not by too much .... it's something one needs to experiment with. Absolute RW fidelity is not achievable in FS due to the lack of manipulable parameters represented within "the game" .... so .... my best advice is stick with what we recommend since it's based on the RW data we sourced as well as direction/support/advice we received from retired ex-DC-10 aircrew.
