Hi everyone. I hope that the season's going well. I was wondering if FSUIPC permanently changes anything to FS9, whether that is FD, etc. even after uninstalling it. I don't see any reason to uninstall it, but I like to make sure that my files are working perfectly.

I've been using FSUIPC (in purely "UNLICENSED" form only) since I first installed FS2004 .... and which requires selection of the "MINIMUM DEFAULTS" option since that's all that'll be available in unlicensed form.
I've not had problem/s at aLL whatsoever with it.
FSUIPC will certainly influence FS .... be it selected weather/environmental factors, selected panel gauges functions, and/or selected controller device calibrations .... after all that's how its intended to interact with FS "based on the selections one makes".
I've never known it to have any adverse effects though .... and I've had it in, and out, a number times similarly with no adverse effect/s either
If you're intending to install FSUIPC in F2004 .... then make sure the utility you're installing is the FS2004/FS9 customized version.
Some of HJG's own panels require FSUIPC (even in unlicensed form) in order for features such as George's WX Radar .... and the FUEL DUMPING SYSTEM in our DC-10 panels also .... to be able to function at all.

Thanks Mark, I've seen no negative changes with its usage, so what you're saying lines up with my experience. Merry Christmas to you!
