AND .... "if" the above "don't appeal" but, one like's B727's, then, one can enjoy the following flights on LAS/LINEAS AEREAS SURAMERICANAS 100's and 200's from Bogota/Colombia to various regional destinations as follows .... LAS B727-100 FLIGHT - BOGOTA/CURACAOwww.youtube.com/watch?v=gbmAFG0TFmULAS B727-200 FLIGHT - BOOTA/PANAMAwww.youtube.com/watch?v=dnxyS5b0ftgLAS B727-200/SUPER 27 FLIGHT - BOOTA/QUITOwww.youtube.com/watch?v=JwvhpslsPzkBeauty of flying both South America (particularly along the length of the Cordillera De Los Andes) and the Caribbean is there's an absolute abundance of places to go to .... and don't take all that long to get to either. And if one has the best of available mesh terrain scenery installed plus the appropriate HJG simulations also .... .... then the routes over which such virtual flights are operated can be as scenically picturesque as they are enjoyable to fly. PLEASE NOTE: Sound quality may vary at various stages among "some of" the above presentations, but, they're still none-the-less "quite good". Mark C AKL/NZ

For anyone "SERIOUS" about doing that. I use the following 30 meter SRTM mesh terrain files by by Jose FERMANDOIS.This guy's compiled the entire South American region covering Argentina and The Falkland Islands/Las Malvinas (2X parts), Brazil (10X parts), Chile (2X parts), Colombia (2X parts), Ecuador/Bolivia/Uruguay (2X parts .... including a fix), Peru (1X part), and Venezuela/Costa Rica/Panama (1X part). There's "a lot of files" listed over the following 2 AVSIM LIBRARY pages .... all of which relate to "this guys productions South American/Caribbean productions exclusively" . The AVSIM links to these all of these files and pages are as follows .... library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=Jose+Fermandois&CatID=root&Go=Searchlibrary.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=jose+fermandois&CatID=root&Sort=Name&ScanMode=0&Page=2From my personal experience (at least) these scenery enhancements are well worth the effort required in order to complete/update the "terrible/very unrealistic" FS default scenery for the entire region(s). There's also separate file for Colombia covering Isla San Andres (a still hotly contested "Colombian possession" located off the coast of Nicaragua). This file's by Juan Sebastion GONZALEZ. It's AVSIM link is as follows .... sandres_lc.zip ..... or search juan sebastion gonzalezThink Colombia's nearby (to San Andres) Isla Providencia (one won't get anything big into this place) is included among the Jose FERMANDOIS offerings for "COLOMBIA" (?). There's also a couple of VOR additions for Colombia too. Separate files for both Ambalema and Zipacquira VOR's (which have never been part of the default FS2004 nav-aid data base). These files are by Juan Carlos CANCELADO R and are only available from FS.COM. Best to search for these files as follows .... Juan Carlos Cancelado RPLEASE NOTE THOUGH: Each of the above recommended files are "FS2004 compatible only" (although having said this documentation accompanying the Jose FERMNDOIS files indicates FSX portability too, but, proceed with caution in this particular regard/in regard to FSX). I can't advise, or offer recommendations, in regard to FSX specific options.Mark C AKL/NZ & BOG/CO
