Hi Everyone,
I'm new here, so forgive me if this has been covered somewhere else. I downloaded the new Boeing 707 320C (base pack, Olympic texture, and panel). The installation went without a problem, but I cannot adjust the fuel in the Center 2 (Rt Inner) tank - it shows full on the engineer's panel, even if I enter 0 for that tank in FS9. Also the fuel and payload window of FS9 shows the CG full forward and well right of center.
All other tanks appear to work normally. I managed a takeoff, but the aircraft pulls to the right, as I might expect from a fuel imbalance. I tried another download and made sure I followed the installation steps, but had the same problem. What am I doing wrong?
Otherwise, it appears to be a great aircraft. I would love to spend some time with this bird, as I flew KC135A's many years ago.
Thanks for any assistance,
Dale

Dale,
Much of this info is locked into the .air file and cannot be changed without the proper tools.
I addressed a similiar problem with the KC-135R from Mike Stone and helped a guy with the necessary info from the -1 to set it correctly. Maybe thats what needs to be done here.

Hi,
The new 707 panels have a custom fuel section. In order to simulate the real thing fuel tank usage is different. The labels in FS9 fuel window do not correspond to the gauges. Take a look in the manual and you will see what gauge correspond to what FS tank.
As for the CG indication, the FDE's have been revised a few days ago in order to correct this, but I'm not sure the corrected files are already available for download. Someone will eventually confirm that.

When I adjust this amount in fs9, the window shows the correct number of pounds of fuel, but the gauge on the 707 still shows full. I tried adjusting all the tanks in the fs9 window, but none seemed to any effect on the right inner tank, as far as the engineer's panel is concerned. I cleared out my old HJG 707 aircraft file, but it's possible some of the old gauges are still in the gauge file - could this be the problem? Dale

Dale,
I'll check this on the weekend while testing the panel.

Hi Everyone,
OK, I figured it out - the right inner tank is actually Center tank 3 on the fs9 fuel window. I simply wasn't scrolling down far enough to see it. Somehow, I knew it was something I was doing wrong and the model is perfectly ok. Thanks to those of you who tried to help.
