I thought the patriot was a pennsylvania air guard bird. Also, the windshield texture is wrong, none of the tankers have a metal frame. They are all painted same as the fuselages. Cheers, Gary

I wasn't trying to be critical, the jet looked fantastic... I just wasn't sure if it was a PA bird or not.

"The Patriot" was a PA ANG bird...it ended up going to the IA ANG when the 171st traded in the KC-135E's for the R model a couple of years ago.

I wasn't aruguing that it wasn't IA ANG...just someone said that they thought it belonged to the PA ANG, which it did, where "The Patriot" nose art was applied. In about 2003/04 those KC-135E's fere transferred to SUX for use by the IA ANG, while the PA ANG got the KC-135R....
