Michael VERLIN has kindly provided us with the following alternative B707 TYPE panel .... We will soon be uploading this as an alternative "GENERIC B707 TYPE" panel .... meaning it is intended for use with any of our current B707/720/C135 models. This particular panel is for "EXCLUSIVE FS2004" use only.
PLEASE NOTE: It will not be compatible with FSX.This is a good panel that is relatively easy to use and should provide the best solution for folk wanting a Boeing panel but have been unable (for whatever reason) to run George's versions, or maybe prefer something a little less complex. George's B707/720 panels remain the "OFFICIAL HJG BOEING PANELS".Michael's panel is intended to serve as an alternative. Support for this particular panel version will be provided by Michael. Thanks Michael for releasing this panel to us Mark C AKL/NZ

You might want to take a look at the included instructions with the "alternative panel".
After moving the gauges to the Gauges Folder, with a couple of overwrites, all one needs to do is move the "panel" (the one inside the 707-320 Panel Folder) to the Aircraft you want the panel in. No need to edit the panel.cfg file. Of course you must rename or delete the panel folder that you are substituting for.

Hi all!
Many thanks for this alternative panel for the B707-320.
I note that it is largely based on Richard Probst's gauges. There is unfortunately an error on the Panel.cfg: On WIndow02 this is wrong:
One should change the Rp727_2! to Rp727! by deleting the "_2" as it is the correct name for that gauge.
Hope this helps and soft landings!

OK .... the HJG preference has always been to install panels into the "FSFSCONV" folder .... but .... it can of course be simply renamed "PANEL" then installed directly into any B707/720/C135 aircraft folder .... replacing the resident default panel folder .... which is what I think "SKY KING" is referring to.
Remember .... this panel is a "generic version" .... intended for use with "ALL HJG B707/720/C135" aircraft and not just "B707-320 alone.
Again the purpose of uploading this "ALTENATIVE B707 TYPE PANEL" is simply to try and provide a decent solution for any FS2004 users (only) unable to run the official HJG Boeing panels by George CARTY.
I really need Michael to comment on this .... unfortunately I didn't package and upload this particular file.

The panel configuration file does NOT require editing. The radio stack is correct as-is. The placement of the panel in the fsfsconv folder is a convention we've used here at HJG to make it more convenient to use any given panel with a variety of aircraft. If you wish to place the panel elsewhere it will, of course, work equally well.

Hello, That's a exerpt of the readme of the alternative panel available now as download... Unfortunately after the decompression of the archive .. the panel folder contain the panel files .. but not a subfolder named panel.707-320.mbIt's not a prob for create one in the folder FSFSCONV and after put the files in... but a newbie will be at lost BTW ..as ravilamir (this Older Active People ..or this Old Age Playstationner ) I have to edit the radio stack entry in the panel.cfg for have it no blank. So ... by editing a little my aircraft.cfg for the B 707's I have now the choice for fly with different panels Regards. Gus.
