Coming soon to our B707-320B & 320C inventories are 4 new B707 models featuring STAGE 2 HUSH KIT equipped P&W JT3D series fanjet engines.
The new models are as follows ....
B707-320B (standard)
B707-323B (American Airlines configuration with different # 4 engine pylon)
B707-320C (standard)
B707-323C (American Airlines configuration with different # 4 engine pylon)
These new models will be referred to internally here at HJG as "S2HK" models
Our texture inventories for B707-320B & C are currently being upgraded so the appropriate aircraft will feature the correct engine configurations.
We anticipate some 50 of our currently uploaded B707-320B & C textures require upgrading to these new models. These upgraded textures will be released over 2 or more website updates in coming months along with the usual assortment of new files you've been accustomed to recieving from us each month.
In the meantime here's a few teasers to show-off a little of what's comming ....
B707-320B ADVC AVIANCA Colombia (1987) HK-1402 by Camilo LUENGAS
B707-323B ADVC South Pacific Island Airways (1986) N145SP by Michael VERLIN .... notice the different # 4 engine pylon shape common to all American Airlines B707-320B/C aircraft
B707-320C Air Seychelles (1988) S7-4HM by Ben HARTMANN
B707-323C BETA Air Cargo (2004) PP-BRR by Michael VERLIN .... again notice the different # 4 engine pylon shape
Folks unsure how to identify STAGE 2 HUSH KIT equipped aircraft should pay close attention to the shape of the intake casing on each engine nacelle. Notice how these intake casing sleeves extend somewhat further back aft than is the case with non-HUSH KIT equipped B707's.
Another variation of our B707 line to look forward too .... we hope !
Special thanks to Gary CARLSON for rendering these new models for us
