Hypothetically, how would I go about adding a realistic avionics "hum" replicating Bus-Bar interference over the headset in FS9 say for example in the Lear 45.
I have the facility to record the wav sound file but unsure how to configure the panel or sound cfg file to automatically play the sound when the aircraft is loaded.
Its not something that I have delved into at all so forgive me for my inexperience, Im more used to the painting side of things with FS.
Looking forward to your time and replies if possible.
Regards David

I resume you mean "AVIONICS WHINE" .... like those we put in our sounds !
Depending upon how the soundpack that your wanting to modify is actually configured, some audio engineers (like Mike HAMBLY) make "avionics whine" a part of the JET WHINE section of any SOUND.CFG file .... usually the very first or last entry in that section. Getting the V & R parameters right for it is a lot more complicated though.

Thanks Marc, After a little experimentation, using FS Sound Studio, I managed to apply the sound to the "gyro" just to see if it worked and it was successful. Im on the right track now with further experimentation required - great fun Regards David
