In many ways, and however indirectly, we've probably got "WOLFGANG" to thank for all this .... because it was he who made the initial introduction between myself & Benoit PLAMONDON, and Hakon SOREIDE & the AFG CARAVELLE team around the middle of last year .... which resulted in our original RR AVON turbojet soundpack and now this inter-group spirit of co-operation too All your fault "WOLFGANG" !!!! ;D Such co-operation between FS groups is rare these days .... but .... whenever it does happen, and is maintained, then things can only get better .... for everyone .... I feel ! "PROJECT CARAVELLE" will remain the property of AFG. HJG is simply giving it what we believe will be a more permananent and easily accessible home .... along with whatever positive imput we can provide/assist with in the future too Thank you for that Tony ! These are "ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC" ! I didn't know Benoit was a painter too For those who don't know ..... Benoit GAURANT is the master panel designer and gauge programmer for all the CARAVELLE panel versions .... previewed by me on page 3 of this subject/thread along with a more full report regarding the CARAVELLE project generally. As Esa has stated above .... these textures are all for the new/latest extension to the SUD EST CARAVELLE line by AFG. This bird is the CARAVELLE 6R .... which was the first of the CARAVELLE series to be equipped with engine thrust reversers .... and I also understand it may have been the first jetliner to be equipped with thrust reversers period. Myself, Benoit PLAMONDON. and Mike MONCE have all been very privileged to work with both Esa KAIHLANEN, and Hakon SOREIDE these past several months. Myself and Benoit have completed a new RR AVON soundpack especially for the CARAVELLE 6R and featuring reverse thrust WAV. Myself and Mike MONCE have also been assisting AFG with minor improvements to all CARAVELLE version FDE's Esa/AFG has kindly authorized HJG to host the CARAVELLE's here .... so .... expect there arrival here very soon. Again .... some great stuff their Esa ! Mark C AKL/NZ

Ok guys, The two Caravelle 6R base packs are now up at Avsim.com, and they should appear at Flightsim.com too in the near future. These base packs include everything needed and they're completely stand-alone packages. Both packs come with two liveries, and additional liveries will be available within few days, as I get them packed up and ready to go. We're working with HJG to further improve the FDE and eventually they'll be available here as well, together with the rest of the Caravelle series. Happy flights! -Esa

This's correct folks ! Over the past several months there's been a lot of co-operation between AFG and HJG. Both Esa & Ari KAIHLANEN (AFG), and both Mike MONCE & myself (HJG) too, are all working together to try to further improve all the CARAVELLE FDE. It's great to have this kind of inter-group collaboration/co-operation with FS projects .... and I'm hopeful it will further improve the overall quality of things to come for the benefit of everyone's enjoyment. Try moving the tractor outside Bob .... that should help increase your parking space inside Mark C AKL/NZ

UMMM .... actually .... I can't take much credit for this at all. These aircraft are both Esa's, and AFG's baby ! All I've done is try to make it "SOUND" good (thanks entirely to the skills of my colleagure Benoit PLAMONDON), and work with those trying to improve the FDE .... as well as trying to secure for the entire CARAVELL series a more easily accessible home .... Thank you for the very nice comments, everyone! The Caravelle has been, and continues to be a team effort. Mark and his colleagues at HJG are very much part of that team! Just to let you guys know, the additional texture sets have been uploaded to both Avsim and Flightsim.com. Should be up and available soon! Included are a few more variations of Airborne Express liveries, as well as a couple of European ones. Also the paintkit is out, in case someone would like to create their favourite scheme. There has also been quite a few interesting U.S. Caravelle 6R liveries over the years, such as this Atlanta Skylarks one, which makes this particular Caravelle type more interesting from a U.S. point of view as well. Have fun! Regards, -Esa
