I seem to be missing every aspect of this process - I have been trying unsuccessfully for 4+ hours trying to get the 707-320/320C, 727, and DC8-62F/63 installed and working under the FSX environment. I have followed the installation processes to the letter I think but each time I get to starting FSX and looking for these excellent aircraft, they aren't there . I've attempted installing creating FSFSConv and assigning the panels to this file under Sim Objects\Airplanes etc, and adjusting the aircrafts panel.cfg as suggested but sadly nothing - can someone out there assist please, as I really love to use these 'real aircraft'. Thanks

I can only say, that you obviously didn't follow the document to the letter, otherwise you'd be flying in stead of sweating .... Take a rest, walk the dog, start all over, and this time use your finger to be absolutely sure that you've read everything. Thise manuls have been tested again and again both of them, and if you follow them you will NOT have any problems with it ... but DO NOT work 4 hours in a row on such simple matters! Do think logically, and not just headless do this and that without actually knowing what you do. FSX is not THAT different from FS9, but unfortunately most users has been spoiled by various self installers, doing more or less damage behind the users back, and removing the possibility for anyone to gain a littel knowledge ..... Try again, and be calm, I'm sure you'll manage. You might also find some valuable information in this rather long session I had a while ago: tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=questionsonfsxandhjg&action=display&thread=2210

As you said i'll give it another go, I can'y as stupid as I might seem, and I'll try one aircraft at a time.

Good luck Stan, and allow me to say, that the feeling is 100 times better once you get the hold of what you are actually doing ;-)
