I am using FSX with Acceleration Pack on XP/SP3.
I installed the DC-8-30 as instructed and I can select it but already in the "Free Flight Preview" the window is just blank white. Also any external view is just plain white. The picture of the aircraft (I can momentarily see it with textures) disappears and all get's white. Blank screen.
From 2D cockpit view (I only tried with default B737 cockpit so far) everything works and I can fly.
I am using a Geforce 8800 GTX with trilinear filtering and antialising. Any changes in the hardware gfx setup did not make a difference.
Any ideas? I have the same problem with a CLS (?) DC-10 model in FSX. According to the forums it seems to be a common problem.
Anyone else?

In FS 9 I lose the preview if the Anti Alisialing is set to high. I just wonder if something similar is happenningm in FS.X..reduce it of temp turn it off and see if that makes a difference.

Tried all different kind of settings including completely disabling anti-aliasing but to no success.

I know this is late but -- maybe turn off the light bloom. For me -- I had this problem. Anti-aliasing will cause slower frame rates. Unless you had a computer that could handle it. Light Bloom off .....
