FSX users following the recent "FSX SUPPORT FOR HJG AIRCRAFT" forum thread (entitled "B727 MISSING RADIO STACK FREQUENCIES" ) regarding the FSX B727 panel radio stack, and whom were affected by this reported issue (disappearing radio frequencies), will be pleased to know that thanks to the efforts of George CARTY we now have a fix to offer. EDIT: Link removed / DKH PLEASE NOTE: This fix is for FSX users only .... since there was never any such an issue associated with these panels in FS2004 ! Upon downloading this fix please follow these instructions .... 1. Delete/completely remove the original "RP727_2.GAU" file from your FS "GAUGES" folder.
2. Replace this old file with the new "RP727_2.GAU" file provided per the above forum link.
3. DO NOT MAKE ANY OTHER CHANGES !!!!.This file will/should resolve this FSX (only) issue with the radio stack in each of our new B727 panels. This new file has been tested by several FSX volunteers .... each of whom have now reported this issue to be satisfactorily resolved. I want to thank each of our following forum friends/volunteers for their kind assistance with testing of this new/replacement gauge file .... "CFELIX, IRISHSOONER, EARL, WILLYVIC, VITOR (SNBF)", and "BLUE STAR" .... thanks guys ! Mark C BOG/CO
