Hey Guys, The DC8-50 is absolutely SUPERB. I have installed the panel which works fine, however, I cannot seem to get the cockpit views to appear in my FSX. My OS is Windows XP. I have beaucop RAM and a very punchy video card. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. As an expat KIWI living in the states I do appreciated Mark Cranstons overviews and informative comments reagarding aviation in New Zealand. Cheers Mac

I've heard of one other similar report. Since the DC8, and CV880/990 panel were originally designed for FS2002 & FS2004 use, I understand, unless I've got it wrong, the lack of side visible views in FSX (only) may be a consequence of this. "IF" that's the case .... then it's unlikely we'll see an update for this and FSX within the forseable future. Might be better if Dan confirms what I understand to be true ! Thank you for that .... much appreciated ! Mark C AKL/NZ

That is correct from FSX the usual views known from FS9 are no more, instead CameraViews has been introduced which are much more configurable, "unfortunately" they rely on a 3D model of the aircraft, but you might still get some kind of sideways views from the flight deck be using for example the CameraViews taken from the original Boeing and paste them in to your panel.cfg
Be aware though that each cameraview definition is defined with a unique ID, wich can be created using the SDK with FSX. I do not know what risk you might take by not altering the ID, but at least thats the way it's defined in the SDK.
You could of course just be satisfied with the way things are, and just live with the fact that those "static" sideviews are no more... I do with the HJG-stuff, but I've exsperimented a but with David Maltby's SVC10
