Hey guys. First post. I've never had a problem with HJG aircraft in the past, but I'm having trouble getting the B707-320B Early v7 to appear in my Aircraft Directory in FS9. I think it has to be a problem with the aircraft.cfg file, but I've inspected it and it looks ok. I think I may be overlooking something, but I don't know what it is. Here's the CFG file so you can inspect it for yourselves. Does everything look right here?
Thanks,
-Joe

YYYYYYYYYYYYEP .... I can see precisely what's wrong here ! "IF" you're trying to install the that LOWA LTD texture (for the HK3 B707-320B ADVC model) then you shouldn't be using it with the B707-320B (Early) aircraft base pack ! You should be using that particular texture with the "B707-320B ADVC" aircraft base packk .... named as follows .... HJG Boeing 707-320B-ADV v7.zipThis base pack is located at the very top of the "B707-320B (Advanced) section of the "B707-320B" page .... you need to scroll down the texture page past the B707-320B (Early) section on that page. The reason why your aircraft won't display in FS is because the B707-320B (Early) aircraft base pack doesn't contain (intentionally) the required "HK3" (Stage 3 Hush-Kit) model which is necessary for that texture. Simply download and instrall the B707-320B (Advanced) aircraft base pack .... then add you Lowa Ltd 2006 texture ADD TO AIRCRAFT data to its CFG file .... and you shouldn't then have any further problems whatsoever ! PLEASE NOTE .... it's absolutely essential to install these aircraft with the correct aircraft base packs .... each of which are available inside texture sections for each of the respective aircraft. Failure to do this will result in aircraft either not displaying inside the FS Aircraft Selection Menu, or, appearing devoid of textures .... either partially or completelyYou can also .... if you wish .... tidy-up some of the ADD TO AIRCRAFT data for that particular texture .... editing this data so as to appear precisely as bold typed below .... [fltsim.0] title=Boeing 707-320B ADVC Lowa Ltd 2006sim=B707-320B model=HK3 panel= sound= texture=lowa_ltd_2006_330b_n88zl checklists= description=This 707-320B is one of a few unique civil 707's. It is owned and operated by Lowa Ltd. as an executive transport, carrying everyone from heads of state to celebrities. She is basically a 4 engine buisness jet. Boeing 707-320B ADVC Lowa Ltd (2006) N88ZLThat should see you right ! Mark C AKL/NZ

Hi! My problem is very similar: My B.707-320B ADV will not appear in the FS9 Aircraft Directory. I am usuing two different textures and I have installed them as every time.... Only this B.707-320B Adv will not be shown!
What may be wrong?

Probably CFG related .... again !
Check, and adjust (as bold typed below) each of the following CFG details .... and then note my subsequent/following remarks too ....
[fltsim.0] title=HJG B707-320B ADVC Olympic (1985) sim=B707-320B model=S2HK panel= sound= texture=olympic_707-384b_sx-dbe_1985 kb_checklists= kb_reference= visual_damage=1 description=HJG Boeing 707-320B. [fltsim.1] title=HJG B707-320B ADVC Condor 1974 sim=B707-320B model= panel= sound= texture=condor_1974_330b_d-abug kb_checklists= kb_reference= visual_damage=1 description=HJG Boeing 707-320B ui_manufacturer=Boeing ui_type=707-320B ADVC ui_variation=Condor (1974) atc_id=D-ABUG atc_airline=CONDOR atc_flight_number=760 atc_heavy=0 atc_parking_codes=CFG atc_parking_types=GATE,CARGO,RAMP
PLEASE NOTE: In cases where a chain of textures are being added to any CFG for the same FS aircraft/model/base pack .... "IF" the very first FLTSIM/CFG entry contains any major error then this will cause all subsequent textures within that same aircraft CFG to also fail to appear.
Again .... try adjusting your CFG entries .... to read exactly as bold typed above .... and see if that then forces everything to appear as follows ....

Hi Marc! I did all the changes you told me - but still the 707-320B Adv Olymic+Condor are not visible. Today tje .cfg looks like this:
[fltsim.0] title=HJG B707-320B ADVC Olympic(1985) sim=B707-320B model=S2HK panel= sound= texture=olympic_707-384b_sx-dbe_1985 kb_checklists= kb_reference= visual_damage=1 description=HJG Boeing 707-320B. [fltsim.1] title=HJG B707-320B ADVC Condor 1974 sim=B707-320B model=S2HK panel= sound= texture=condor_1974_330b_d-abug kb_checklists= kb_reference= visual_damage=1 description=HJG Boeing 707-320B ui_manufacturer=Boeing ui_type=707-320B ADVC ui_variation=Condor (1974) atc_id=D-ABUG atc_airline=CONDOR atc_flight_number=760 atc_heavy=0 atc_parking_codes=CFG atc_parking_types=GATE,CARGO,RAMP
What may be wrong now ?

No you haven't !
You shouldn't be using the MODEL=S2HK reference currently applied to your CONDOR entry .... kindly review my C&P above !
"IF" all the necessary edits have been correctly applied .... then .... there's absolutely no logical reason for these aircraft not to appear within the FS9 AIRCRAFT SELECTION MENU.
Please recheck confirm all the following ....
1. Your CFG/ADD TO AIRCRAFT details all appear precisely as above.
2. You are using these aircraft with the B707-320B ADVC aircraft base pack .... and not the the B707-320B Early, or, any other B707 aircraft base pack.
3. You have not got a vaild folder still within another containing folder from the dowloaded ZIP file.
None of these possibilities (1-3 above) will help your case.
As a last resort ....
Are you able to make, and post here, a screenshot/image showing the folder/file contents of your B707 aircraft base pack folder. That way I can see .... "at a glance" .... precisely what you've got there .... or haven't got there, but, should indeed have within that folder.

BERND .... I cannot view nor download/access your attached picture/file ! I did ask you to upload your picture to a free image hosting service (like PHOTOBUCKET) to display it "HERE" .... for us all to view ! I do not mean to sound like an irritated teacher/professor before a classroom of students ;D, but, looking at the TITLE= data in your latest posting, you still do not appear to be following my instructions. Although this TITLE= data alone might not be the route cause of your problem it does help to get all of these entries tidied into some sense of uniformity .... just to limit the potential for FS to possibly becomed confused by differing entries/data. PLEASE .... I am happy to "TRY" to help you, but, do need your co-operation here "IF" we're to ever goinng get to the route cause of your problem .... and resolve it ! Other than posting a screenshot showing the contents of your B707 aircraft base pack file I still need you to also confirm the following details .... as previously requested .... 1. That you are using these aircraft with the B707-320B ADVC aircraft base pack .... and not the the B707-320B Early, or, other B707 type aircraft base pack. 2. That you have not, inadvertently, got a vaild folder still contained within another containing folder from the original ZIP file and which may .... possibly .... be preventing FS from recognizing/displaying your aircraft. All that's just for starters !
What will help me more is your displaying that image on this forum page .... for us all to view !Please co-operate with us .... and I'm sure we'll be able resolve your problem .... eventually. I feel it's important that we, at least "TRY" to get to the bottom of this .... "RIGHT HERE AND NOW" .... in the hope that this information might aid resolving someones elses problem later !
