I don't want to sound like a "KILL JOY" ;D .... because that's honestly not my intention ! Whatever other panels folk use is "ENTIRELY UP TO THEM" .... I respect .... BUT .... something folk "MAY" need to remember is that not every other panel version can be applied to every other aircraft simulation (FDE I mean) with the same credible results .... assuming most people want to see fidelity in terms of details like engine gauge indications etc. Other panel versions "MIGHT" basically work .... but .... folk contemplating using other panel versions need to be aware .... in respect of our/HJG aircraft only .... that engine gauges (etc) in the panels we/HJG provide "HERE", are programed specifically around our own FDE versions. If another panel versions are used .... one "MIGHT NOT" then realize the same sort of harmonious compatibility .... credible gauge indications I mean .... to say the very least. Beyond these comments .... I must confess that I'm not at all familiar with this other panel version, though I suspect it's been designed for use with the Mike STONE L1011-500 model .... a different bird completely from the L1011 version we, so far, represent here at HJG .... and .... and entirely different FDE version too. As I mentioned above .... I'm not wanting to appear to be a "KILL JOY" .... and what people use is entirely up to them, of course, but, I just felt a responsibility to state these facts .... only because I'm sure not everyone's actually aware of these finer FS details.Mark C AKL/NZ

Yes we know of the OM-panel and we've looked at it too, but as Mark states, we also compared it with Ken's panel and the result of our considerations and the agreement with Ken can be seen with what we offer here. But feel free to try it out :-)

Hi There! I get your point! As far as I've been using this, it works just perfectly fine! after all, I have no doubt that the engine parameters of your FDE are definitely well done! This panel is good for someone that is wishing for maybe an excess of complexity (that in turn is one of the reasons of the L-1011 poor sales), yet again Ken Mitchell panels are extraordinary as well! We have a lot of them here at HJG, and the guys at www.vas-project.org have a real gem!
