**** "CROSSBONE40" .... I've moved your query "HERE" .... to where ir's more appropriately located ****
Hello,
I´m sorry that I wrote about this subject in the wrong support forum but it was due to the mentioning of Trebor´s problem, so I put it in here (You can move it anytime into the Douglas Forum).
Ref Mike:
1) No, I never start with the default C172 because I never had troubles with planes before (only some sceneries had problems, f.e.I own Flytampa Vienna for FS9 and since the installation and activation of calclassic´s Central Europe 1961 in the FS-menu, all the other planes are somewhere on the grass and the airport is far away. I put away the cross in the boxes for CE61 and CA61(the last one must be on top over all the vintage sceneries), but the problem was not restored).
But I will try to download and install the DC9s again and start them the way you told me. I hope, that I will find all the old data to erase them before I reinstall them.
2) I was told, that with newer PCs you do not need to defragment your HDs, it could even harm them. But I use the CCleaner about once a month to clean my Pc from unconnected files, links etc.
Ref Mark:
The Panels were the recommended ones for 10-15&for the 30, as it is said in the installation-info in the forum.
And I would never mix together a HJG model with parts from an other designer cos I know that that would cause incompabilities.
Maybe the CCleaner-program did something to these dll-files. I can´t look up the location of the dll´s and the exact panel type anymore, because I deleted the aircraft folders already. Could you tell me what else needs to be removed except the plane folder?
I wrote this into the wrong forum again, but that way it was easier for me to read your questions to answer them. Please move the messages into the right one. Sorry for the inconvenience
