Hi, I've been experimenting with creating a decent 'kneeboard' for the DC10-30 (apologies for the small image)... It has tabs for: "Take Off V speeds"; "Take Off N1"; "Climb N1"; "Flight Planning Table"; "Descent distance"; "Landing V speeds"; and " Maneuver.Approach.Threshold spd," and is fully scrollable in the Kneeboard window in FS9. If the .HTM file and it's accompanying folder is placed in the "HJG McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30" folder then all that needs to be done is to edit the Aircraft.cfg file in the "kb_reference=" line to show "kb_reference=DC1030PERFORMANCE" and it works just fine. If anybody wants the files let me know and I can send them along. I guess if it's popular enough it could conceivably be included in the aircraft download from the HJG website. Original PDF file was created by Matt Zagoren. Cheers, Dave

I'm "INTERESDTED" in your concept Dave .... but .... if we were to take it on something liker this then we'd need accurate data in order to do so for each of the DC10 series aircraft (-10, -15, -30, -40, -40D, and -40F .... each of which "differ" in respect of both engine type/thrust and their certified operating weights) and not just for the DC10-30 alone. They might not differ massuively .... but .... they do still differ (ans some of that "IS" already reflected in what we offer) .... and we do like to try'n do things as comopletely/thoroughly as we possibly can .... subject to FS limitations and the availability, to us, of certain reference information ALSO .... "IF" it's Matt ZAGOREN's original data then we couldn't just upload it. "I feel" .... we'd need an authorization from him .... just as a matter of "courtesy" if not to be/remain totally "legal" too .... if you can sence what I mean Best to PM me .... I think .... if you'd like to discuss things further. Mark C AKL/NZ

Hi again, Well, I certainly don't want to be the cause of any problems with treading on anyone's toes. The information available looks to be limited to the -10 and the -30 models; OK for V speeds more or less with the two types of wing on the DC-10, but not enough N1 info to cover all the versions. This project could always be limited just to V speeds. Can't be a problem with "copyright" then as the information is freely enough available elsewhere - you can buy performance manuals on EBay these days. Anyway, it was just a thought Cheers! Dave
