Thanks for doing that Dan .... WELL DONE ! Just a couple additional details to clarify things for everyone .... 1. The new DC8 PANELS GAUGES/CORE FILES package contains an updated "DC8SW.GAU" file .... dated "January 23, 2008 11:31:06 AM". Folks whom already have our December 19th uploaded DC8 panels installed only need to remove their original DC8SW.GAU and replace it with this new one .... it is not necessary to change anything else. Folks using FSUIPC (even in non-licenced form) "might" want to consider uninstalling/reinstalling this module in order for this module to recognise the newer gauge date. Folks whom haven't yet installed our new December 19th uploaded DC8 panels should do so now. These folk need to completly uninstall "ALL" old panels, and gauges/core files versions and replace these with this newest data. PLEASE .... do not try applying these new gauges/core files data to older panel versions because they simply "WILL NOT WORK". 2. The new B720-B BASE PACK contains 3 updated B720-B models each with their correct engine details .... early version P&W JT3D series fanjet engine with small suck-in doors on the the sides of their intake casings. These changes do not affect any of the currect texture sets Finally .... remember it's always a good idea to refresh your internet browser before downloading .... and even sometimes in between downloads too.ENJOY ! Hi Ben and HJG, Great stuff Ben and thanks HJG. However there's one problem with the upload for the 707-120B American Airlines 1978 (photoreal natural metal) zip file. The folder with the textures inside does not currently indicate it's a texture folder. It should be - texture.american_airlines_b707-123b_n7573a_1978 Thanks for the great work once again all

Ben struck again aye ! ;D Thanks for that heads-up "JETBLUE3000". These little hick-ups have got be expected from time to time Folks .... when openning your downloaded texture ZIP files, just be vigillant and check that what should be named as the texture folder is actually prefixed "TEXTURE".Let us know if you find anything amiss. Thanks ! Mark C AKL/NZ

Hi Mark
The date I have on the new dc8 file is 23 January - would that be correct (I see you mentioned 21 Jan) ? Just checking! Finally got my browser sorted out - was an incorrect setting.
Regards Trevor

I think I'll think about a more appropriate way of changing between different versions instead of the date. The date in "Cyberspace" is sometimes a very fluctuate thing, whereas a hard coded kind of versioning is more reliant.... I'll be back on this subject...

Sounds like a good Idea Dan, i.e. like we do with the models (V5, V6 etc)?
