That's "A WORRY" .... because you've got me concerned now One senses when one's getting on in years when one reads titles (like within that first link) stating "REMEMBER THE DC8" Have they "ALL GONE" now ? JEEZE .... I grew up with, and around, and flew on DC8's (during the 1970's and 80'a .... and did my last flight on one in the jumpseat of HA's DC8-63 N4934Z during January 1990) like some people ride on buses. That LOT POLISH/ARROW AIR DC8-62 .... and the INTERAMERICANA DE AVIACION -50F .... within the first link .... look "NICE/INTERESTING" Plenty of good (prospective) repaint material there. Fortunatelty .... and thanks to our painters (past and present) I think we've got most of (if not all of) what's represented within the 2nd link .... BUT STILL .... "interesting stuff/memories and nice to see". Dee will certainly like this Mark C AKL/NZ

They're not all gone. There is still Skybus operating N807DH, an ex-DHL DC-8-73CF, Samaritan's Purse out of the US operating N782SP, an ex-ATI DC-8-72CF, a pair of VIP birs, and a handful of African cargo freighters. There's also the single Congo Air Force and NASA aircraft as well for a total of 14 still flying. BTW, Samaritan's Purse's new aircraft has a really attractive scheme if someone might want to paint it. forum.keypublishing.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=237093&d=1430144539

I'm not going to worry about your question .... since it doesn't relate to any feature of an HJG simulation.
BUT .... what i will say is this ....
What your image relates to appears to be a "semi-EFIS" type/configuration DC8 panel .... probably a -71 or a -73 aircraft .... and most probably a UPS operated aircraft too .... since I think this type of instrumention was pretty much a standard feature among most of the last of their DC8's that remained operational until their retirement from service.

That was going to be my guess too, a UPS super 71 probably.

Considering the plane in its windscreen is also a UPS DC-8-71F...
