I did but did not realize there is no search parameter for 720. I found the flights. I was looking at wrong division because I was basing the hockey livery on Whisperliner division. Did not realize it belonged to Golden Falcon division. Sorry about that.

Aharon

"Boeing 720" is the very FIRST equipment listed under the Golden Falcon search... but anyways... One new one for everyone... N8715E... And before the pics a little info... Ship 715 is something of a... well... almost mythological beast in these colors. There was a plastic model kit produced in the 70s of the 720 for Eastern that included decals for an odd 3 color tail falcon in a red/white/gold/blue combo and the registration N8717E. There never was a ship 717, nor have i seen a pic of that tail combo anywhere, so for years I ignored it. However in 2013, I met a guy, William Thomlinson, who in the mid 60s to 1982 worked for Eastern in the Atlanta maintenance base, mostly in the paint shop. He showed me a slide of the fresh from the factory N8175E with a Gold/white/red/blue falcon tail. He told me it was an attempt to liven up the Golden Falcon slightly by the "old" leadership as he put it. He only had the one slide, and it was very degraded. I spent some time searching for more pics of this plane, finally another former EA employee showed me a black and white picture he had of it at Boeing Field prior to delivery. Enough for me! So here is N8715E in the rare, 2 off (the other was an Electra) "Blue Shadow" Spear colors, circa 1961: The Blue shadow didn't last, the Electra with it I've never seen a pic of, and I don't know for sure it existed (it's up there with the red spear one in the "did it exist" category) but 715 lost it's blue shadow by 1963, and was "hockeysticked" by 67.

"Boeing 720" is the very FIRST equipment listed under the Golden Falcon search... but anyways... Found the search parameter function!!! It was not there before. Now I get nice list of all flights flown by 720!!!! Before, when I used the search parameter function in Golden Falcon division, it took me straight to regular division of Eastern. Now it shows correct flight search parameter functions of any aircraft type in Golden Falcon fleet. Regards, Aharon

One more... N8712E The last EA 720 delivered. This one was delayed at Boeing for almost 3 months because of a fault with the rudder controls to required apparently a whole lot of work. I've heard the FAA made Boeing rerun all the control lines after a test flight by 712 almost rolled over, and in the wake of the American Airlines 1 disaster the same year for similar reasons. Don't know if it's true but my old salts from EA say it is... high res Basically the same as 715 but without thew blue shadow.

Ok, last one... N8711E circa 1970 Final colors with flag and a bit weathered. In 1970 the final 6 720s were used as backup and charters until they took their last flights in may/june and were sent off to Boeing for refurbishment and onward sale. High Resolution
