A very minor detail .... really I can't answer your query .... other than to "suggest" that "maybe" (just maybe) the author of that particular texture has information to the contrary. There have been occsions, in the past, where people have queried such details on the basis of a perceived error .... even supprted by photos .... only for us to find that the actual references used for a particular subject show different details than others of the same subject. Sometimes also .... FS models have certain limitations which makes it difficult, or impossible, to paint/represent some details (if they're not standard/common paintable features of some aircraft/liveries) due to the way those details are compiled into the models or their supporting texture BMP files. I by no means imply this "IS" the case in this particular instance .... only that it's "a possibility". It could well be "just an inocent oversight" too .... and if so, then, I can't guaruntee it'll be rectified due to that particular texture author no longer being a currently active group member. As I mentioned above ....
Many people in FS .... like Nick .... do (eventually) move on .... for their own reasons.
In the event he ever spots and reads this thread .... and feels he wants to adjust that subject and does so .... assuming that can be done at all (for the reasons I suggested above), then, "G-R-E-A-T" .... but .... I can't guaruntee that might happen of course.
