I stand to be corrected .... and Dee would probably know better than me even .... BUT .... I think you´ll find that particular livery is probably nothing more than an impressionists publicity artwork.
"SO FAR AS I´M AWARE" .... no DC-8-10/20/30/40 (or even any of the later variants either) ever supported that particular livery style in reality .... making it "NON-KOSHER" in accordance with HJG´s long established policy of "RW" (only) aircraft livery subjects.

I can tell you that from looking at this image this is probably what you would call a promotional livery, for example if you go to the actually airbus aircraft company website and look at their out of production models, you will find and a310 in the house colors that the a380 wore during its test flight. Even so, the a310 was never flown in these colors, trust me it would have awesome to see it fly in that livery, but it has been used solely as a promotional paint scheme. Boeing and mcdonnell Douglas also had their fair share of these house color, unfortunately, they closest that they ever came to the real aircraft were the company's scale models and toys. Though I will say if I do find any genuine photos or information that proves that this was a real world livery I will let hjg know right away, because that is one very cool looking livery. Sincerely, Tristar15
