Thanks! Got a couple of plain-Jane freighters here, albeit in some less-common configurations: 727-277F Advanced w/ winglets, N251FL, 2013: 727-2S2F Super 27 N216WE, 2018: I believe 251 has been out of service for a while, but both aircraft were/are primarily used to transport car parts from Mexico to various factory sites in the United States. Common destinations include Pontiac and Ypsilanti in Michigan (for Ford, GM, and Chrysler), Tuscaloosa, Alabama (Mercedes), and Greenville, South Carolina (BMW). Most flights also stop in Laredo, Texas for customs purposes.

One gets a decent/better appraisal of the size differences between the original/standard B727 P&W JT8D engine nacelles .... and those of the marque P&W JT8D engines fitted to SUPER 27 conversions (in the #1 and #2 positions only) .... per the above texture preview comparison line profiles.
YEP .... rather than just saying "there it is" .... it's always important to also try'n say "that's what it is" too. In fact when I started doing aviation journalism during the late 1990's one of the first things my editor taught me/I learned to always cover were "the 5 W's" .... "What, When, where, Why, and Who". Do that well and one has all the necessary ingredients for a decent article .... especially if one's also define "how" as well.

As I've mentioned a number of times recently .... this FS web site is all about avation and airline history (after all that's what the "H" in HJG stands for) .... capturing what it was/has been .... as well as what it is now/has become .... and recording the variety and changes that have progressed over time and between both extremes. Thanks to some superb references provided by our Harerton DOURADO .... Erik INGRAM has now been able to even further improve and expand his TRANSBRASIL B727-100 project which appears of PP-21 ofr this thread .... tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/8978/best-care-air-more?page=215 of the originally presented liveries have undergone improvements/corrections .... with new images of each now presented. And 2 additional historic liveries/variations based on the airlines flying colours theme of the late 70's and early 80's have also now been added .... supported by the appropriate new imagery. Thanks once again to Erik IGRAM for his dedication And our grateful appreciation to Harerton DOURADO also for his kind assistance with all of the historic references that have not only made this project possible, but, have also helped improve it considerably too. Not that there are many left between these and Paul's TB 737s, but I think I'm ready to be done with TransBrasil for a little while So on that note, cue the Men At Work music, because we're going Down Under. Most of the Ansett 727s have been represented already at different points in their careers, but the "Star Trails" livery from the mid-1980s doesn't seem to have been done yet. This is 727-277 Advanced VH-ANF as seen in 1986: Ansett also had a fairly extensive cargo operation, and in late 1983 VH-RMX was converted to freight use. Notably, this was the first 727-200 worldwide to be converted from passenger to cargo use, and after a number of years, became N251FL as featured above. As with many airlines worldwide, they were also a significant operator of the 737, though only in -200 and -300 form. They served from 1986 until the airline's collapse in 2001 (the brief revival in early 2002 only used A320s). Here's VH-CZK as seen in 1988 in the "Star Trails" livery: In the early '90s, a new tail design was introduced along with a rebrand to Ansett Australia, which was a stylized version of the Australian flag. This is VH-CZC as it looked in 1991: That design was short-lived, and replaced with another new design with more modern-looking titles in 1994. That one's in the works, so stay tuned!

Nice "West Island" representation Erik These are getting really close to home/my door step .... given my current and temporary geographic location. I remember B727 VH-RMX very well .... operating a weekly freighter sked between SYD and AKL during the late 80's .... and which, if I correctly recall, was replaced for short time with the TNT B707-320C (the ex TRANSCORP aircraft) also during the very late 80's ands which I think ANSETT had some involvwement with too. Yes, Ansett definitely had some very striking designs during their time! The last of these was introduced in 1994 with the "fading A" and updated titles, seen here on VH-CZD in 1998: Ansett also served as the official airline of the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, which resulted in several aircraft receiving decals to promote them. VH-CZT had the mascots Syd, Millie, and Olly on each side.

Erik, Respectfully request to update some of my paints with your window textures...Please They are very nice.....In light of what you have done with some of the UAL mainliner schemes I noticed the Airline titles on my 727-100 were ...."off". I tweaked it and the lettering to look a little better. Ill send it off to mark to update that file. I really enjoy your paints and its obvoius you have a passion for this!!! Great work on those Delta birds also. Just an FYI...the original Delta 727-100 birds had white noses. One of my paints shows this. here is a shot of my "tweaked" UAL Mainliner-100 Here is the old one.....with the "big" and wrongly spaced UNITED logo. Think the new one is much better even though it's subtle.

It's a relatively simple livery, but it was a bit of a pain to stretch the titles to fit...I think I finally got them in the right place, though!
