Hello!
During using the military flightline a lot the last weeks, i have noticed that I could not make the beacon lights working by switching the beacon lights switch located at the overhead panels of all 707 Panels.
A look at the Aircraft cfg gave me a solution. In the Aircraft Light section the beacon a linked to the strobe lights. So If you notice them too just change the lights to beacon Number 1 instead of Number 2
light1=1... instead of 2 light2=1....
Then it works. Just if you noticed this matter too.
Saludos
Michael

Interesting .... because "no lighting edits" were applied to any of the updates released late last year.
"IF" .... such an issue is evident then it will have been so since 2006 .... in fact it'll likely have been the case since 2002.

I've just had a look at this. Miguel is correct in regard to his reported observation .... muchismas gracias amigo mio PLEASE NOTE: This "very minor" lighting discrepancy "DOES NOT" apply to either of the following 4 HJG supplied C-135 simulations though .... E-3C E-3D E-6B EC-137DThe LIGHTING data for each of the above 4 C-135 subjects "IS" correct as supplied. PLEASE NOTE ALSO: "NONE" of the HJG supplied civil B707/720 flight line is implicated by this "minor discrepancy" .... the LIGHTING data for "EACH" of these other simulations is also correct as supplied. Why the variation of data ? I don't know .... other than to suggest this "minor discrepancy" has been evident, but, not detected by anyone since 2002/3 when the HJG C-135 flight line began to be produced. It's seems likely each of the 4 subjects not implicated were possibly among the very last to be delivered to HJG around this period .... hence they've each featured the correct data all along. Prior to 2020 the HJG supplied C-135 simulations had never received any updating .... at all. The updating applied to them .... during 2020 .... was strictly FDE related .... and only in relation to data which implicated flight performance, but, nothing else. This "minor discrepancy" has now been entered into the "KNOWN ISSUES" section of our forum based/online C-135 manual .... C-135 SERIES MANUALtonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/9860/135-series-installation-handling-notesThere "WILL NOT" be any re-uploading of any C-135 data. My own inventory of HJG C-135 aircraft base pack stock has now been updated though .... so this "minor discrepancy" can't then be perpetuated in the event of any future C-135 base pack replacement/s. The required fix/edit is very easily and manually applied as follows .... 1. Open the AIRCRAFT.CFG file for each of the implicated HJG supplied C-135 SERIES simulations. 2. Scroll down to the "LIGHTING" section within each CFG file. 3. Identify and focus upon both the "LIGHT.0" and "LIGHT.01" data lines only. By default the suffix for each of these 2 Beacon Light entries will read =2 as follows .... light.0=2, light.1=2, 4. Manually edit the suffix for both of these 2 Beacon Light entries (only) to read =1 and precisely as follows .... light.0=1, light.1=1,Do not alter/edit any other data associated with the LIGHTING section for the implicated HJG C-135 SERIES simulations.
