I have no idea what there is to do to correct the dull grey textures. The thumbnail image at the downloads showed a pretty metallic shiny texture but that was probably installed in FS2004. I am using FSX and can't seem to get that pretty metallic shine. Anyway to fix this? I enclosed a video of it.
Oh its the Steam Edition of FSX

Texture seems fine per Erik's November 2020 presentation of it as follows .... I produced our following FS2004 based preview image of that particular texture (along with the other NW 10-40 produced at the same time also) .... both of which seem, to me, to be OK .... "As a guess" (only) .... I "suggest" it "may" (?) be the result of an FSX based graphics or supporting card related setting (or related drivers .... "perhaps"), but, not being an FSX user, by personal choice, I can't further advise Mark C AKL/NZ

I've had as look at the texture concerned. It's correctly formatted etc .... so .... no problems there. Checked it again in FS2004 too .... and it seems fine .... Admittedly it uses a more dull/different type of natural metal treatment/texturing (no two FS artists paint identically) .... but .... I believe what the artist (in this case) was intending to simulate is "the matted/weathered appearance" .... of the type natural metal inevitably takes on after a period of having been subjected to the effects of wind friction, dirt, and grime etc. Again .... I can't find anything wrong with the texture .... and all of the textures we offer display/should display equally well in either FS2004 or FSX .... subject to the influence/s of graphics card and FS settings and related drivers etc. IN SUMMARY .... You should be seeing nothing less than what's evident within my above imagery .... subject to FS time of day, season, and weather scenario lighting effects etc. Mark C AKL/NZ
