Everyone has to have a dream .... and anyone who's dream is composed of "real determination and passion for something" seldom ever fails .... www.youtube.com/watch?v=7U1Ro07jQjUMaking it happen is what makes the difference between "the dream and the reality" .... and that applies to almost anything of value in life Mark C AKL/NZ

ANZ produces some absolutely great videos. From the one just posted to the old LotR safety briefings. Definitively a class act in that regard. Too bad the US airlines can't do the same.

The AIR NEW ZEALAND safety briefings .... like'em .... hate'em .... or feel embarrassed by some of them (some of early one's were definitely a bit bloody corny) .... certainly relaxed people aboard our aircraft and got their attention (the American's in particular liked them) .... and which is precisely what was intended AIR NEW ZEALAND is very actively involved in the NZ community and has, over recent years, begun to do "a lot" in order to encourage people into considering aviation careers .... as per the following 3 short videos relating to different career opportunities .... www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmEpkOOItTEwww.youtube.com/watch?v=GFXoE9lrwD4www.youtube.com/watch?v=bl78TORYwiAI return to the subject of the following video I recently presented and which hilites more subtle aspects of AIR NEW ZEALAND's community involvement .... especially among the younger generation. This happened during 2017, but, isn't the first time AIR NEW ZEALAND has done something like this .... "The Best Birthday Present In The World" .... from AIR NEW ZEALAND.www.youtube.com/watch?v=nU-DsrXgB8IMain point (apart from it possibly being a great PR initiative in favor of AIR NEW ZEALAND) is this particular kid will (positively) remember "THIS EXPERIENCE" for the rest of his life The younger people are exposed to aviation .... then the better .... and especially when their interest is cultivated into "a passion" .... and from which their future, and the future of the aviation industry (AIR NEW ZEALAND hopefully) "might" one day benefit Mark C AKL/NZ

In regard to AIR NEW ZEALAND's above-presented Aspire To Fly and other PR initiatives. I hesitated mentioning .... not everyone whom would like to do it can, or will actually, be able to do it of course .... for whatever reason/s of personality, adaptability, physical make-up, and above all academic capability might individually apply We find such exists among some people in FS as well However .... that doesn't mean those whom "like the idea" shouldn't, at least, be given the/an opportunity to see, for themselves, what it's all about .... per the like of these sorts of/whatever publicity and introductory campaigns are offered. The system itself will ultimately separate prospective from unlikely candidates. Others will, themselves, decide this sort of career (it's a lifestyle choice really) "ISN'T" for them after all. At the very least though .... all those whom do take advantage of such introductory opportunities "WILL" definitely walk away learning "a lot more than they knew when they first walked in" .... and just as importantly .... discover "a great more about themselves as well" .... and which can be both a positive and life changing experience in itself.
