 Yesterday with great sadness I found my Father at his home and he had passed away, he was a great man loved and respected by all those that had the pleasure to meet him through out his journey of life, He was a great Father to his children and also to the extended family, humorous and very talented as an amateur artist. Even to the last days of his long and good life he kept that humor. He will be sadly missed not only as a Father but also as a very good friend when a sensible ear was needed for sound advice. I will be occupied for the foreseeable future making sure the best send off he can have for his last journey and also going through his home and memories of 91 years, this will take time and no doubt rekindle memories of all the years he shared with the family. I will grieve our loss along the way but I know now he is with our Mother and his dear wife whom left us many years ago. I was hoping to post some 25 plus new textures I had worked on for HJG these will have to wait for now. Hence I apologise for not taking further requests and the slowness of the imagery of what I have ready to go. I will be back but I think it will be sometime due to the workload I will be taking on. Above is a picture of my Father doing what he loved in his retirement, he spent the vast majority of his working life holding a high position in a large international company working on fuel systems etc on aircraft, he did a lot of work on the Concorde fuel system and his knowledge of non destructive testing etc was second to non. A great man who made people feel happy to be in his presence. Thank you for letting me share a very short bio of my Father and I will return in the future. |

My deepest condolences Tony. This is a flight we must all take. Fair winds and following Seas to your Dad. Sounds like a life well lived. Don’t deny yourself grief, it’s an important part of life. My thoughts and prayers to you and yours while you navigate this tough time. While I am eager for some of your recent production, that can wait my friend.

It certainly sounds like he was living a full life right up to the end, and I hope that your memories of him bring you peace and comfort now and in the future. Echoing Jim's sentiments, I'll be excited to see your new textures, but of course, take all the time you need until then!

My sincerest condolences for the loss of your Father and Friend. Probably most of us are old enough to have been touched and saddend by the loss of a parent.
Your Father has been fortunate to live to the ripe age of 91.

Condolences from me to you and your family. I can imagine how you feel (I lost my father over 4 years ago. He was only 68 years old and that's no age for 'Mr. Black').
