Been trying to do that since very early this morning (14 hours ago) but property evaluations/negotiations have taken precedence all day .... and remain my absolute priority at present.
Quite old, but also, quite good still .... and despite the passage of time.
Not the first time this's particular subject's come up.
Last time was around 10-12 years ago.
A number of ways to "look at/view all this" ....
What Jim's stated .... and in particular the way he's presented it .... is
"ABSOLUTELY SPOT-ON" Although neither here nor there in the context of this particular query .... what Tony states is correct also .... to the extent that HJG's B707/720/C-135 representations/offerings (in respect of their different fuselage lengths, tail and wing configurations, and engine types etc ..... supported by customized FDE's as well as aircraft/engine type specific panels and sound packs too) are vastly more extensive than anything previously, or currently, offered by anyone else for FS (either payware or freeware) and for which we've Gary CARLSON's dedication to thank.
An additional detail concerning this query I want to pose too is in regard to selected "SCREEN RESOLUTION" .... which, in FS, can (albeit subtly) influence/distort the shape and axis of whatever's presented (as is the case in regard to panels/gauges also). This can similarly become apparent too in regard to zooming and selected axis's/angles of FS view (forward/rear/above/and below aspects) as well. I've certainly noticed this among our PC's/monitors and in FS .... so .... I'm not in the least bit dismissing what's been raised here.
It should also perhaps be noted the greater majority of what HJG offer was never designed with modern Wide Screen monitor use in mind too .... since the foundation of most of what we offer predates this era. Again .... these models are "quite old", but, this project's also still "very comprehensive" despite that. All of these 3D models were compiled from the very same original source so the basic contours of details like their tail shape are common throughout the entire line.
The following imagery, covering some of the most important representations among HJG's civil B707/720 line (much more's offered than depicted here though), should demonstrate any inaccuracies are quite minimal/not too bad (no FS model's perfect remember) and become less apparent in accordance with some of what I've mentioned above.

.
"EXTREMELY UNLIKELY" .... for the following reasons ....
1. The HJG civil B707/B720 project alone is composed of some 40+ individual 3D models .... and this doesn't include the similarly extensive military C-135 line.
2. The source code for these model is no longer complete .... so this projects is, and will remain, essentially "AS-IS". Similar also applies to the HJG CV880 and CV990 3D model line too but for entirely different reasons.
3. Even if it were possible to modify the like of tail contours this would likely "BUMP" many of our existing textures .... and impacted by such we certainly couldn't withdraw, edit, and then reupload every affected texture.
