I haven't read of this problem here yet, any hints at a fix?

I tested both 707-120.GAU and 707-320.GAU pretty thorougly on more than one computer.
In fact we originally started out with more than 1 version of each gauge set at the very beginning then narrowed it down to the best performing example of each .... of course.
Throughout the testing phase neither gauge set was found to be causitive of any crashes whatsoever.
System variables may come into play here, and if that is indeed the case, then there's probably not much "we" can do about it .... unfortunately.
However I invite you to tell us briefly about your system configuration and how you've installed everything.
George CARTY (our B707 panel designer and gauge programmer) may be able to better assist later on the basis of information you provide.

Installed according to instructions,
the 3 gau files into gauges folder, the 'panel' folder into
aircraft / fsfsconv folder, then aliased the aircraft pnl.cfg file to the panel
straight forward install, must be the system, Pentium III 1 gig cpu, 256 RAM, geforce 2, 34 meg vid, sound blaster sound.
I dunno, anyway I'll keep using the Golding panel, it works great...;o)
Thanks for your help,
Craig

I have "OLDMODULES" as shown, I fiddled with the sound a bit, but still no go...!
LAUNCHED it all and I'm back to P. Goldings GREAT panel!
Anyone remember the old FS98 CARP, (Chris Arrington, R. Probst), 707-100 panel?
That should be updated to FS9, it was WAY ahead of it's time!! ThanX for all help.... ;D

Just as a matter of curiosity. Before you installed the new B707 panel/s did you first delete the original HJG supplied AIRCRAFT.CFG & AIR.FILE data with youraircraft model .... and replace it with the new FDE data contained within each of the new B707/720 Base Packs ? There has been significant modification to this FDE data. If using George's panels the new FDE data must be applied to your aircraft first .... or .... it's feasable you "may" experiece problems with the panels. Just a long shot Mark C AKL/NZ

Another suggestion: try deleting or renaming your fs9.cfg before launching FS. You'll have to add the old moudules section again and reconfigure the video settings but sometimes it solves many issues.

Both the '120.gau', and the '320.gau' were used with AC that had the NEWEST FDE's.
I didn't think to try a 'NEW' fs9.cfg file and since I've deleted it all, it's 2 late.
I'll come back for the new panel when I get a newer/better puter, as this one is on it's last leg...LOL....;o)
And THAT will probably coincide with the advent of FSX... ;D ;D
