Dan Air London 737-200 wearing the rare for the type original red livery which I think was the best Dan Air colours of all Maersk Air 737-200 in the classic blue body livery Aer Lingus 737-200C full cargo version

Yes Mark that Aer Lingus was a colourful livery Paul thanks for the info on the Dan Air, I knew that that and the Maersk were the same aircraft but did not know about the reason for the Dan Air livery. Regarding that awful yellow and brown 737 I guess I will have to do that one to complete the set

There's actually 4 subjects that could be squeezed out of the basic TRANSAIR livery.
- 1X early production B732C C-FTAN - 1X B732 ADV C-GTAQ - 1X early production B737-200 AER LINGUS/TRANSAIR hybrid EI-ASH .... with old AER LINGUS font/logo - 1X early production B737-200 AER LINGUS/TRANSAIR hybrid EI-ASH .... with later AER LINGUS font/logo
Just sent you all the necessary refs.

Hi Tony. Another one from the memory bank. I remembered a 732 with a UA cheatline, and my log shows it was EI-ASK leased a couple of times in the 70's from UA. A rare picture of ASH and ASK at LHR at the same time. Keep that paintbrush warm Paul

There's "a number" of AER LINGUS hybrids .... and some of them are actually "quite interesting". Unless an "Irish FS and historical aviation group" was to chime in though and say .... "we'd loyke ta harv this, thart, arnd the odder thing too" (psuedo Irish accent attempted ), then, I guess we really need to pick'n'choose in order to focus upon the major/best/and most interesting ones so as to avoid over-representation in regard to one specific carrier. Still .... "good suggestion/s Paul" .... and at the end of the day I guess it's up to the individual painters anyway .... since all I do here is attend to the internal organization and not the actual painting.
