I have been working on a 707-320C British Caledonian Jetcargo livery over the base AA colours the aircraft was leased from, this is the pre finishing picture. Been a while since I painted a 707 and this livery interested me as it is a bit different from what we already have. I will post more when it is finished and I am happy with it

Before anyone spots/has a chance to say anything The above BRITISH CALEDONIAN B707-323C (G-AYZZ 1972-73 named "County Of Renfrew") livery "is not" the same as that (the G-AYZZ 1971 livery) we currently already offer .... released during 2007 and in case anyone else had noticed. Although our earlier released texture supports essentially the same livery its composed of the original and transitional "BRITISH CALLEDONIAN/BUA CARGO" titles of that period .... following the BRITISH UNITED AIRWAYS/CALEDONIAN AIRWAYS merger of 1970 as follows .... 1971 - G-AYZZ - 707-323C Textures by Ben Hartmann Last Updated: 29 Sept 2007Whereas this latest texture (the yet unreleased subject of this particular thread) supports the "BRITISH CALEDONIAN" titles (only .... no "BUA" rfeference) and as had become standard by1972 This same aircraft was actually twice leased from AAL (N8417) by B-CAL. It's first B-CAL lease was from June 6th 1971 until September 27th 1971 when it was returned to AAL (N8417). It's 2nd B-CAL lease was from June 8th 1972 until December 31st 1973 (G-AYZZ named "County Of Renfrew") when it was again returned to AAL (N8417 named "Astro Jet Chicago") .... and with whom it served until April 1981 when it was next leased to GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL AIRWAYS .... until sold to APPLE AVIATION SERVICES INC during September 1985 .... then onsold to BOEING MILITARY AIRPLANE CO during November 1985 .... withdrawn from service, stored at USAF base Davis Montham, at Tucson, Arizona, USA and used for spares recovery in aid of the USAF KC-135E program/ Mark C AKL/NZ

Yes I saw that texture that Ben had done a superb job on, mine shares nothing from Ben's it is a totally new set of textures as I wanted to try a few things out that I had not done on the 707 before

Understood and appreciated Ben .... and no problem.
Believe the variation of B-CAL livery anticipated by Tony is slightly different from yours .... as stated within my earlier posting on within this thread.
What HJG does now (has always done in fact) is focused upon the "finer" differences between airline liveries (of this type) since that's what the "H" (meaning "HISTORIC") in HJG is all about
Any concerns get back to me me privately

Hi Ben, many thanks to be honest nothing you have done so far needs any refreshing and certainly not by me as it would be like getting a painter and decorator in to touch up the Mona Lisa
