I came across this (Free) mod a couple days ago for the (Payware) Carenado Beechcraft D18S for FS2020.
The only issues that I had with the base aircraft were the sloppy ground handling, and the horrible engine sounds both inside and out.
The Freeware "Denarq Twin Beech" mod corrects all that and more, with a complete overhaul of the weight/balance configuration of the base aircraft which significantly improves handling on the ground and in the air, as well as replaces the default engines (that sound like sewing machines) with much more beefier sounding radials that will cough and splutter at idle and low RPM's.
Additionally, it adds more complex engine management that you MUST be weary of if you want to avoid destroying your engines on take-off or during your flight.
Particular attention must be paid to oil and cylinder temperatures which must be managed properly.
The mod comes with a small PDF which outlines what you need to do to keep your engines running healthily that I recommend quickly skim reading through to get the best out of it, and to avoid any mid-air engine failures.
In short, only use the power you need to get airborne as using full throttle will burn your engines out inside of 30 seconds! and manage your prop pitch carefully to avoid unnecessarily high RPM's etc.
Also, don't exceed 90 kts with the side window open or it will trigger a crash & burn. Not sure if this is a bug or a feature though and it took me a couple attempts to figure out what was goin on.
Lastly, lock the tailwheel once lined up and prior to takeoff, and then use differential braking to keep going in a straight line until the tail lifts off the ground and the rudders kick in etc.
