I realize that this forum is primarily dedicated to MSFS and more specifically... historic civilian jets/airliners etc, but figured the real world pilots and general aviation enthusiast whom visit these forums might get a kick out of Digital Combat Flight Simulator; more commonly referred to as DCS.
Most of the aircraft or modules are pretty intense and require a LOT of reading and study to familiarize yourself with the various aircraft weapons and sub-systems, so its probably not for the casual user.
But, every year the parent company (Eagle Dynamics) releases a "year in review" video on Youtube. These video's are always extremely well done (created from in-sim footage) very highly entertaining, and well worth a watch even if combat flying is not your particular thing...

The base program includes a couple free aircraft to sink your teeth into as well as provides access to free trials of the other aircraft currently available to purchase.
Definitely recommended
