Hello to all of our very talented repainters. I was wondering if anyone would like the idea of doing a repaint of Singapore Airlines only 737-200 9V-BCR? It only flew with the airline for two months before being sold to Frontier in the US (I think). I assume the livery would be the same as the 737-100 as I am still looking for a pic of the 200.
Just putting it out there in case it quirks anyone’s interest.
Thanks again for all of the amazing works of art you all produce,
Nathan

9V-BCR was a B732, but, AFAIK it flew with the jointly operated (between Malaysia and Singapore) MSA/MALAYSIA-SINGAPORE AIRLINES "prior to" both parties going it alone (with the formation of MALAYSIAN AIRLINES SYSTEM and SINGAPORE AIRLINES) from 1972 .... MSA 9V-BCRB737-212 9V-BCR HISTORY9V-BCR - Malaysia-Singapore Airlines Jun 1971 delivered N7382F - Frontier Airlines Dec 1972 sold Air Florida Apr 1979 leased Frontier Airlines Oct 1980 returned Continental Airlines Oct 1986 sold EI-BXV - Guinness Peat Aviation Oct 1988 sold VT-EQG - Indian Airlines Apr 1989 leased HR-SHJ - SAHSA Jun 1990 leased OB-1476 - Faucett Del Peru Apr 1992 leased Aero Santa 1993 leased Withdrawn from service during April 1997 and stored at Lima and later scrapped. AFAIK .... SINGAPORE never operated the B732 (MALAYSIAN did however), but, it "did" operate the B731 for a time .... We could certainly do the MSA, but, not the SIA for lack of a B731 model .... "at the moment" .... unless the SQ was done as a "WHAT IF" Mark C AKL/NZ

Ahhh, well that explains why I was struggling to find a pic in Singapore livery. Those 100 series are so cute. 🤭
Thanks again for another informative reply, your insight into airline history is always a pleasure to read.
Cheers, Nathsn
