"AIR ROUTES" for an operator like BEA depend upon what one wants to fly ..... B707, BAC ONE-ELEVEN, COMET 4C, HS TRIDENT, L-1011 TRISTAR .... in respect of the BEA operated aircraft type simulations offered by HJG. It also depends upon where one wants to fly from in the UK .... or from Germany too during the very late 1960's/very early 1970's IT period. By the late 1960's/early 1970's the BEA route network (both scheduled and charter/IT operations) was "EXTENSIVE". From the UK BEA serviced Ireland, western and eastern Europe, Italy, Malta, Greece, the Baleares Islands, North Africa, Scandinavia. As the following route maps indicate there's no shortage of options .... BEA (domestic)[bb]BEA (international - historic)[/b] The following link to historic BEA period time tables might nbe helpful too .... "IF" your referring to the above represented L-1011 .... then that particular aircraft (N305EA) was demonstrated to BEA, by LOCKHEED, during 1972 and "prior to" it's delivery to EASTERN AIR LINES. BEA (and COURT LINE) had already ordered the L-1011 prior to its 1974 merger into BOAC to form BRITISH AIRWAYS. During 1972 the very same aircraft (N305EA) was also demonstrated, by LOCKHEED, to COURT LINE too .... Mark C AKL/NZ

It's no big deal .... really. As you, yourself, say/imply .... we've all done it at some stage. Sometimes people simply, and legitimately, do miss things too .... it can, and does, happen In any case the partie concerned is very new to this forum and is still finding his way around here .... so what's happened is perhaps to be expected. Again .... it's no big deal Mark C AKL/NZ
