Hi guys, As the title says, here are some preview screenshots of some of my latest repaints: Click on the thumbs to enlarge. Please see previous "Metro 737..." thread here. Along with a few other repaints, I have been working on this one for a while now trying to get the right look. Mostly complete with just a few small things to do. It was only logical that I do this livery too. I still have a number of things to do for this repaint as well as decide on the registration to use. Following on from the above, I had to do this livery as well. And because it has the same tail and general design as the MetroJet, it was quick to do. I am not one of these metal textures experts that are able to make perfect looking photorealistic metal from photos or other methods, but I do think that this metal of mine is looking pretty good and resembles the real thing fairly closely. It is 100% hand painted and shaped according to the way light seems to be reflected off the 737-200's fuselage. I might still make a few adjustments here, but for the most part I am going to stick with this for now and it will be used in some of the other liveries that I am still busy with as well as some of the updated textures that I intend releasing. Once these and the various other liveries have been released I will be starting a new project. Any comments most welcome, All the best, Philip.

Lovely repaints, Philip. Is this Erick Cantu's 737-200?

Hey JP,
Thanks man. Hope all is going very well your side!
Ian: That is correct, these are painted on Erick's Kittyhawk model using Mike Baumann's FDE upgrade with my revised contact points.
Best regards,
Philip.

Thanks, Philip. I have the a/c but I'm not sure if I have the latest FDE and your revised contact points. Please could you tell me where I can get them?
Many thanks, Ian

Hi Ian,
Please search for "kittyhawk_737_fde_update.zip" at Avsim. I am going to release a slightly revised version of this FDE which has further improved contact points with these repaint releases.
Best regards,
Philip.
