Hmm. I see they have civilian style registrations. "...EA", are these ex-Eastern birds?

Actually the airframe history of 84-1398 shows that she was actually an ex-TWA airframe. She was purchased by BMAC (boeing military aircraft co.) in june of '64 and given the civil registration N131EA. She was delivered to Tinker as 1398 in Dec '93 still carrying her civil registration.
84-1399's history is similar aside from the fact that her history is a bit longer. TWA, Air Tara, CargoLux, Aerotal Colombia, and Faucett all operated her until she was aquired by BMAC at the same time as 1398. She was registered as N132EA and like 1398 was delivered to tinker in Dec '93.
Both aircraft served until July 2001 when they were replaced by 81-0898 and her sister ship 81-0893. The designation on these aircraft hasn't been officially confirmed but most sources agree that they were given the designation TC-18. Because they were converted from C-18A airframes (707-323C) I believe that the conversion to trainer promted the prefix "T" and the suffix "B" ie. TC-18B. This hasn't been confirmed but is probably the most likely of senarios.

A little note that I forgot to mention in my last post. The TC-18 series aircraft have since been retired with the arrival of the new E-3 simulators. I have done some digging and there is a TC-18B designation! Since the TC-18E's flew from 1993-2001 and were replaced by 0898 and 0893 that can only mean that 0898 and her sister ship are in fact TC-18B's. Note for those who would like to point out the fact that in addition there is a TC-18F designation be reminded that the two TC-18F aircraft that operated out of Tinker were proficency trainers for E-6 Tacamo aircraft.

I'll send the textures to you asap. Regretfully I cannot post the textures as I am not an HJG member.
