Hello all HJG graciously granted me permission over the summer to repaint some of their aircraft in Piedmont colors for use in my virtual airline. I thought I'd share with you the latest aircraft that has been delivered to our hangers. Soon to follow will be either a 60 series or a 70 series DC-8 and a B720. I'll post shots of those as they are completed. Thanks!

I probably would have experimented with putting their "bird" logo on the engine pylons. You're also missing the aircraft registration... Nice picture. Dee

Hey, I didn't say it's done. That's the blank model, we follow the Piedmont method of naming all our planes, so there will be many names/registrations availble for our pilots. I'm thinking of continuing the "Pacemaker Lady *females name*" pattern that the 707s had

Its a good repaint, hovewer it would have been looking better if you used the original Piedmont text on the fuselage. Here they are, not perfect but i guess they are usable

Well, i did them. A combination of different fonts and using the markee tool in Photoshop. The fonts i modified where something called Corporea, a couple of modified Eurostyle fonts and a very timeconsuming resizing. The "M" for eksample is a font called "DS_narrow" which needed to be modified. Here was the result on my paint on the Piedmont OC. Boeing 737-200

That's amazing.
I have to ask, would you be willing to do a maybe a couple of repaints for my Virtual Airline? We currently lack an active fleet manager, and neither I nor the CEO have the time to paint everything we need.

Thanks for the proposals but i can't promise anything as i first of all have to be aquainted with the base textures for the HJGs and slowly start to learn painting HJG planes...
Cheers

Well, actually, there are only 3 HJG planes that we need to be repainted left, and I have one of them half done. We have a few other aircraft types that we need that we would like someone to repaint for us.
