Ben ! I'd be quite supportive of your uploading this to SIMVIATION, AVSIM, and FLIGHTSIM.COM .... if you wish. Although we don't upload "FAKE PLANES" here anymore I appreciate there's some folk out there whom like that particular concept. See me prior to uploading .... because I've got a couple ideas to add to incorporate with such any package as may be uploaded externally. Please drop me a PM when you're ready ! It looks G-R-E-A-T. I think it doesn't stink in the least ! Mark C AKL/NZ

You know me Mark But seriously I have been very distressed lately but the amount of fiction on the various sites and I join historic sites like this to get away from it. I live in horror that my latest project will end up covered in all sorts of horrors. I have recently wondered why I bother The reality is that there are strange and surprising real world liveries and such a site as this should be able to put them up and be believed because the site is one of fact....dificult if fiction is supported There are loads of real worlds still to be done so boredom should not be a problem OK these thing will exist but why not somewhere else or if on here in a Strictly Fiction section so that I can avopid it and keep my breakfast down Garry

I wholeheartedly agree with you, ;D real world airlines/aircraft have so much to offer without resorting to fictitious paints, just let this one slip through as I love the aircraft with a firm I recognize, anyway they might have had one if they'd got the chance

Yep that's the one
I can never remember if it is G-AYSI or "L"....."I" it is.
I wasn't written off with Britannia though.
There was a surprising number of British airlines who adopted the type as the big boys sold off well maintained fleets that could be added to later if there was a need for another compatible machine.
This continued through the seventies but was fading by the end of the decade.
Some like Monarch and Invicta found the 720 rather tha the 707 ideal for the job although Invicta failed due to much higher costs over the Vanguard.
Britannia was keen to expand further afield but it was not a good time to do so and the aircraft was returned to it's owner BMA who had found the same thing and leased them out. Dan Air had another BMA one on lease

I appreciate your point Garry .... and agree with both you & Bob "in principle". Most folk are also very well aware of precisely where I normally stand on the subject of "FAKE/FICTICIOUS" liveries too. However .... despite the fact there's no way in the world we'd ever contemplate uploading this subject "here" at HJG, I'm also still concious that there's "some folk" out there whom do like to take their flights of fantasy to the extremes of downloading this sort of stuff .... as a "WHAT IF" concept. Its for the sake of these folk I see absolutely no harm in releasing a subject like this .... "to those other websites" .... if indeed Ben wants to do that. Certainly "NO HARM AT ALL" in that At the end of the day it's Ben's choice .... and the FS community can then vote with their Mouse as to whether or not they wish to download it. Mark C AKL/NZ

i only did this for a joke Garry. I have ABSOLUTELY NO intentions of releasing this publicly. I just wanted to see how the scheme looked on a 707. This thread is the only place you will see this repaint, i do not plan on releasing this, unless people PM me and then i can mail it to em......
.....I support your view when it comes to rarer paints. If you have seen some of the stuff i've done recently you will find such oddballs as a Britannia 720, a Monarch 707-320C and a Tradewinds 707 posing in a Air Hong Kong Livery.
There was no harm intended here, this was just for fun, but as you clearly disagree with this i shall refrain from creating such fictional disasters in the future.
A Lesson Learned.
Ben

Fully understand how you feel about this agree with you all the way ;D could still do a Britannia one though, ?? [tongue in cheek] i.e www.airliners.net/open.file/0745643/M/different colour scheme, but still Britannia and best of all its real world, just my thoughts on the matter, and hope this doesn't upset anyone if so will apologize now,
