Hello all I'm posting three shots of the 707,because I can't seem to find any paints for it other than the one showing. According to the acft.,config./readme the author is/was Gary Carlson and it shows it's either a 707-120 or maybe a 707-367? I just don't know. If you notice it doesn't have the antanna/probe sticking out on the upper forward tip of the vertical fin like all the other 707's here at HJG Comerical or military. Is this an HJG model?. I want to add some other paints to this plane. This plane I've had for over a year and love flying it. I tried some other paints but they won't work because of the antanna not there. The paint job on the plane, the author was Yannick Charland, when I was flying with transinternationalairlines.com. I sure would like to add some other paints to this plane Comerical and Military, though I'm not sure if the Military used this model what ever it is. Thanks for any assistance. "GRAYRIDER" .... that's our model alright .... there's no question about that .... but .... that's not one of our texture sets.
We don't offer a TRANS INTERNATIONAL texture set for the B707 .... so .... I'm interested to know where you got this one and if the aircraft is a realworld or fictional repaint.
The model you have there appears to be a "B707-120B" .... our "MODEL.8" to be precise.
We offer B707-120B models both with and without VHF tail atenae for this aircraft type as follows ....
B707-120B
MODEL.8 = Fanjet engines. No VHF tail antenae. No lower rear fuselage ventral fin. MODEL.10= Fanjet engines. Has VHF tail antenae. No lower rear fuselage ventral fin. MODEL.11= Fanjet engines. Has VHF tail antenae. Has lower rear fuselage ventral fin.
Our B707-120B textures will fit on any of the above models .... even erroneously.
If other textures you've been attempting to apply will not work with your particular base model (above) .... then that could only happen because those textures were never intended to be used with that model .... like if they were for B707-320/B/C/-420 etc.
For our textures to display correctly then these must be applied to the particular base pack models for which they are intended.

Thanks for the reply A while back I was a member of Transinternationalairlines(Virtual) that is.If they are still in business the web address was www.transinternationalairlines.com. I downloaded this plane that was available from there hanger. All I did to it was add a good sound package to it.The paint may have been a special request by that club, and the readme says it was painted by Yannick Carlson, this may have been a special request,as far as I know.It was in memory of a real world pilot that past away. The pilot name is just below the pilot window, but you can barely see it in these shots.Someone at TIA may have known Yannick Carlson and asked if he would do this texture for this plane, but I don't know for sure, sine I'm not a member there any longer. I don't know if this was a real world airline,I never really asked. I looked at the readme again and the acft. config does say it is a 707-120 no letter code after it. So based on your info and if it works, only the 707-120B paints should work correct? Thanks for any further info GrayRider P.S. Just click on the website above,it is still active.Than click on there fleet page and you will see there 707.Download it and have a lok at the readme. When you see it before downloading it they call it a 707-131B?.

From the information you've posted above I'd say the arircraft was a fictitious livery only .... because so far as I'm aware the realworld TRANS INTERNATIONAL only ever operated B747, DC8, & DC10 aircraft. I'm not aware of the realworld airline ever having operated the B707.
Credits for the above model/repaint probably should have read as follows ....
- Model by Gary CARLSON - Repaint by Yannick CHARLAND
That's correct .... apply only our "B707-120B" textures to this model.
I actually implore you to download our "B707-120B AIRCRAFT BASE PACK" to ensure you are using both the latest "VERSION 6" models, and FDE.

Hi,
After reading this post, I also downloaded and installed this version of 707 from the noted carrier's website.
I believe it is a version 5 aircraft FDE as the engine gauges on George's latest 707 appropriate panel are off in their settings. I will use the version 6 base pack for this Trans International 707
Thanks,

"YES" .... regrdless of where you may have obtained a texture from, always apply these to the latest version Aircraft Base Packs (containing models and FDE) available at this website.
All V5 B707-120/-120B/-120BF/-138/-138B/-220 & B720-020/-020B textures sets are compatible and directly interchanble with the current "VERSION 6" models we provide for these aircraft.
All V5 B707-320/-320/-320C/-420 & -700 textures sets will adapt to the new "VERSION 6" models provided .... but .... these will also require and addition BELLY_PAN texture to display central lower fuselage and wing root texturing.
"ALL" textures available from the HJG website are already converted to for the current models .... so .... no changes are necessary.
We cannot/do not garuntee compatibility (and do not support) of textures sets for these models which are obtained from other sources outside "HJG 2006".
