Hi, I downloaded the 707 protoype and used its apporiate sound set with the correct panel and noticed on when I tried to apply thrust reverser on the reversers lights on the panel (707-120) turned on and there was a slight sound of reversers being deployed? I though the prototype 707 did not have reversers? Is there somthing I did wrong? I redownloaded all the files and still get a reverser sound.
Thanks,
Bill

I suppose it's only a matter of the sound being played in response to a panel command. But to be sure, check your aircraft.cfg to see if reversers are present.

In fact the Dash-80 as a test acft went through various configurations changes. It even flew with a rear mounted 5th engine during the 727 test period. But the original configuration, which is reproduced by HJG, didn't had the reverses.

Ill check the Dash80 to see if there is a reverser entry in the aircraft config.

I just downloaded the base package and found this line in the aircraft config for the Dash 80.
reverser_available=1

Bill
When B367-80 flew for the first time during 1954 it wasn't fitted with reversers .... at that time it was powered by P&W JT3P turbojets with waster injection.
As Harerton correctly points out this aircraft was modified many times and eventually had reversers as later engines types were tested.
The soundpack I sent you for B367-80 has reverse removed completly. I wanted to represent this aircraft as per it's 1954 configuration.
I want you to open up your B367-80 AIRCRAFT.CFG file.
Identify the [TURBINE ENGINE DATA] section.
Within this sevtion identify"Reverser_Available=1".
I want you to change the "1"to read "0".
That should be sufficient to prevent reverse playback.
