I can't comment on that of course, but I can say so much that I used the FS9 version when it came out, and I wouldn't consider using FS9 with out it.
I think those guys know what they are doing, and given the configuration possibilities they describe, I would think that it would fit any system. According to them selves, the impact on framerates are minimal.... the mere texture replacements shouldn't give troubles, but the inbuilt weather engine might well do... and we all know what cloud textures do even the default....
I guess we'll have to wait and see. Still the screenshots look mighty fine...!
Anyway what is an average PC nowadays ;-)

agreed. My own private philosophy is not mix several products / addons that tamper with the same ting. It's almost doomed to go wrong.

I would certainly go for REX when its out. But then again, I'm not really into payware
