Repaint is pretty cool but i figure some strange things: pilots are not textured, at night texture doesn't have lights in passanger cabin. Lights appear when I turn on landing lights. Some times cocpit is grey and rest of fuselage is white...

Just had a quick look at this "YAREK". 1. This is not Eduardo's fault in the case of CUBANA. It would appear all HJG DC8-10, -20, -30, & -40 textures (that I've installed and have so far checked) lack textured pilots .... and to some extent a textured flightdeck too from external view. This has remained unreported since these aircraft textures were last updated to V5.2 some 3 years ago .... disregard whatever date appears on the downloads page because in most cases that only corresponds to when they were actually uploaded to the website. This pilot texture discrepency is easy to resolve. If it bothers you all you need to do is open one any of the current DC8-50 texture packages and "copy" each of the following 6 texture bitmaps to a temporary folder .... DC8-FE DC8-FE_L CREW CREW_L flt-deck flt-deck_L.... then "copy" each of these bitmaps to your CUBANA (or other DC8-10, -20, -30, & -40) texture set .... select "YES" to any overwrite prompt .... and you will then have textured pilots and to some extent a textured flightdeck when observed from external viewing mode. After doing this, and to avoid taking up unnecesary space, you can then delete each of the following texture bitmaps from any DC8-10, -20, -30, & -40 texture package .... crew_shirt crew_shirt_L OVERHD OVERHD_L pilot_capt pilot_capt_L pilot_FO pilot_FO_L The above appear to be older/now redundant textures .... which is why they will not display with the current V5.2 DC8 models. I am really surprised this has never come up in 3 years .... since it applies to all of the above mentioned aircraft 2. This one .... I cannot answer .... but it seems only the CUBANA repaint is affected as such. I'll need to consult with Eduardo .... when he's not busy. 3. Sorry .... I cannot see and are unable to replicate this particular problem (unless this flight deck issue is the same as related in # 1 above). I'm not seeing any white/non-textured areas over this aircraft whatsoever. I hasten to add that sometimes if you are using an FS aircraft within particularly dense sceneries .... then sometimes fuselage textures (etc) may become slow to display .... or even disappear completly. It's very rare though and would normally only apply to lower spec PC's and graphics cards. Hope some of this at least is a help ! Mark C AKL/NZ

Doesn't matter. I just let You know. Look at the picture: 1-three different colours. Is it error of texture or sun light in FS? 2-no lights in passanger cabin

Regarding #1, that is caused by ambient light shading in FS. Regarding #2, if the light map texture is done correctly with the correct alpha channels, then the window lights should come on whenever the nav-lights are switched on. In this case, it seems that the alpha channels are not correct and the windows are lighting up as "logo lights". Final comment: if all the flightdeck textures that Mark pointed out above are included in the texure folder of the airplane model, then the complete flightdeck and crew will be textured. No doubt about it! ;D

Hello to everyone, I'm glad you liked this one very much, and well I have been trying to work out the problem related to the cabin light effects. Since yesterday, I've been trying different levels for the alpha channel as recommended by Dee, and unfortunately I haven't been able to solve it..... but still working on it. As for the metal textures, well let's say that it wouldn't have been possible without Aldo Regozani

Thanks for your diligence with this Eduardo .... much appreciated ! I have devised a "FIX" package for the PILOT and FLIGHTDECK texture issues .... which I'll see if we can get uploaded later for everyone (who wishes to) to do their own conversion. Mark C AKL/NZ

Aldo, It confuses me too! You might want to read Tom Gibsons tutorial on FS painting. In it, he talks about the 2 different alpha channel colors that are used to switch between nav lights and logo lights. One is black and the other is gray ( ). But I can never remember which witch is which! ;D Dee
