Can anyone please assist with advice on how to make the smoke effects work on all the HJG models.
Thanks in anticipation

OK .... you must first have our various smoke effects files installed within your FS9 "EFFECTS" folder. With CV880, CV990, & DC8 .... these effects work upon depressing ("once only") keyboard "I" to start them .... and the same key a 2nd time to stop these effects. With most of our B707/720's these effects start working automatically as soon as you have sufficient throttle advanced .... assuming you're using our B707/720 panels of course. Otherwise you'll need to activate/deactivate these effects per keyboard "I" also. The only exception to this rule is B707-120/138 when used with our "B707-120" panel (with water injection system). The proceedure is to run the engines up to full power .... then activate the 4 little switches on the "Water Injection Panel". If you then hurry back to external view (and only so long as you have our "B707 Heavy Smoke Effects"file installed inside your FS9 "EFFECTS" folder) you'll see some of the thickest/blackest engine exaust smoke possible for FS as youraircraft accelerates down the runway .... really specaticular . With this particular panel and effects file you'll only get around 3-4 minutes of fireworks though before the system shuts-off .... simulating the water/methanol solution having been entirely consumed by the engines. Hope that helps you get sorted Mark C AKL/NZ
